The GI is good, and the female magician is passable. The rest don't interest me.

Interestingly enough, miniatures are manufactured the world over.

I will say though, I had occasion to deal with Reaper a bit when I was down in Texas. Very nice folks to deal with. I use their paints most of the time and their miniature range is about the widest I've seen. If you're looking for something, there's a pretty good chance they have a version available.

I've picked up a pretty good variety for objective markers, interesting additions to forces and just having some fun stuff to paint.

The chick with the little demon are characters from the Rise of the Runelords adventure Burnt Offerings.

check out the pathfinder series of minis - some of THE BEST scultps anyone does out there, and uber affordable. My next purchase will likely be Valeros, amoungst some of the other pathfinder range minis, for no other reason then they are the awesome. Like Magic the gathering cards put into 3D, lol.

Also, I would have thing that the magicians assistent is his GF, rather then the daughter. I mean, really...

Nice miniatures, but have you honestly never heard of Reaper miniatures before? To be honest, I cannot think of a bigger company than Reaper with the exception of GW.

its a reference to the DC characters who are magicians. The female one being the daughter and the male magician being the father. though i couldnt care much about those guys :/ except when the father magician is a zombie

Ordered some minis off of them a week ago. The minis OP posted aren't really their best, IMO. Their female sculpts are just brilliant (far and above the man-jaw dykes that probably have a bigger penis then most men that GW's known for), and overall they have plenty of awesome minis at great prices. Quality really depends on the sculptor.

And their pathfinder range is brilliant.

I'm sorry, but a lot of those are just bad. GW has some really nice sculpts which is why they keep getting my money. These are more a throwback to the old Grenader D&D model line.

Reaper has some nice stuff, such as this thing representing a Seneschal:

Reaper has a lot of stuff I like and a lot of stuff I don't. All depends on the sculptor.

Same as any company really.

Every single model from GW isn't genius by any means.

No, if it were Werner Klocke she'd have her tits hanging out and wear not a whole lot else.

It's listed as being by Julie Guthrie and Bob Ridolfi.

It's a really nice figure and with the pocket watch, would make a great master of Ordnance or Officer of the Fleet for Imperial Guard armies.

You can also remove that hand and replace it with one holding a weapon quite easily. Works well with a plasma gun.

these remind me of the old Grenadier and Ral Partha minis that I used to have waaaay back when I still played D&D, circa 1987
