Here, at last, is my WIP Escher gang. Detail shots to follow.

Models used:

Front row: Hasslefree Miniatures, Signee, Billie the hunter, Sadie (b)
Centre row, edges: Black Scorpion Miniatures, Pirate Girls 2
Centre row, middle: Reaper Miniatures, Ellen Stone, Miss Scarlet
Back row: Heresy Miniatures Jessica Rae, Anima Tactics Wissenchaft Agent, Reaper Miniatures Sascha Dubois, Anima Tactics Kirsten, Studio McVey Lt. Kara Black

I don't usually work very fast, or consistently - which is why they've all got a little paint but only two are finished. Still, they've been fairly successful in the games they've played so far.

Here's the leader, Sascha.

I absolutely love this model, and it's a simple conversion if you've got the bits. She has the distinction of being the most converted model in the gang - the rest are totally unmodified. Well, the ones in my active gang at any rate. Let me know what you think!

A nice collection!
I'm not sure about two things - Sascha's skin color and the plasma gun. Somehow ebony doesn't do it with blond hair for me, and the plasma gun is just too big to be held with one hand - unless it's bionic.
But otherwise, I like the feel and look of this gang and salute you for getting a lot of nice girl models in one army/gang. Any chances to see closeups of others?

Here's some of Sadie I took a while ago.

The only other finished model in the gang at present. Kind of short compared to the others, but there's a pretty good variety of heights in the gang - so she doesn't look out of place.

Speaking of short...

Though she's armed with a lasgun, she counts as a juve with an autopistol and sword at present.
I do have extra pirates I could have used for WYSIWYG purposes, but I couldn't not use Newt

Super fun gang! Are you going to make any terrain- or, how will you base them?

Looking good, always love to see what people do for Necromunda.

We've got an assload of CoD and other assorted terrain at my friend's house, where we play our games. As for basing, I'm going to go with a basic grey gravelly look, probably.

Here's a few shots of Jessica.

I said earlier that the rest of the gang was unconverted - I'd forgotten about this model. Originally her left hand was holding some sort of stick thing, but I swapped it for a sword I had spare from the Sadie kit. It works so well, sometimes I forget it wasn't always there!

Looking good, though she lacks the 'ganger' feel a bit; she looks more merc then ganger to me, but that's probably becasue I'm used to the old Escher models

Nice mix of figs.

Did you want to consider a name change for the gang though? I was expecting muscle men with big moustaches and Dale Winton...

One of the reasons I love collecting this gang is I can use a massive range of figures and styles together, without it looking weird.

I think I'll stick with the current name.

Might go with The Manstoppers for my next gang though...

Nice models there chief, you seem to have plucked them from many many different forges - so expect all my scale questions to be pm'ed to you in future.

Also, can we can some close ups of the Piratey lasses?

I live to serve...

Very, very WIP shots to follow - first is Vicky.

I think her eyes came out very well.

The other is Alice. Not great light this morning, so the difference between skin and hair is not as clear. The skin'll be highlighted up before she's finished anyway.

And here are the other two models you get in the same pack.

Two out of four isn't so bad

Here's a few shots of my two dual-sword armed gangers, Kirsten and Caroline. Despite the models, neither has actually got a second sword in the campaign yet. Both have subsequently had a pistol added to better represent their gear. I can't decide what colours to go with on Caroline yet - your suggestions are appreciated.

Kirsten:

Her sister, Caroline:

Though both siblings clearly have an unhealthy interest in cutting things, Kirsten favours a short blade for stabbing or throwing, while Caroline prefers a longer weapon for sweeping, slashing attacks.
Strangely, both claim to be the older sister.

Looking great The Dreadnote! As for colours: a metallic green or red would nice on Caroline I think, like those chinese clothes:

It would add to the deadly-swordmaster-look. It's that or bright yellow!

Oh man, that jacket is badass. Consider that suggestion taken, so long as I can pull it off!

Do you reckon that green would be achievable with regular colours, or would some kind of metallic medium be the best route?

Gave it a go; mixed camo green, goblin green, and mithril silver. It's a subtle effect, but looks pretty good - I'll get some pics tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion Khaine!

I like the colour, it'll be spot-on with a few highlights, though I feel the metallic isn't really showing through in the pic. How is it irl? Anyway, lovely model!

It's a very subtle effect - if you didn't know it was there, you'd probably miss it. I'll try adding more silver to the highlight colours. Still, it's a pretty unique colour in the gang in it's own right, so it manages to stand out.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Okay, so I highlighted it with 50/50 camo green/mithril silver.

Bit more silvery than I intended, but I quite like it this way.

Love the highlights, really bringing it to life . When comparing the two pics I can detect the subtle effect in the first pic as well. I wouldn't call this too silvery btw, I feel it reflects the orginal in the best way possible in 28mm scale.

Where did you get each of the models for this gang, especially the pirate looking ones?

I am planning a summer WFB project of either a Nurgle Carnival of Chaos or a Pirate Landing Party, and some of those figures would be perfect!

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Each of their names in the OP is a link to where I got them

I'm thinking of doing her skirt in red, again using the chinese jacket for reference. After that, I'll just need to work on her skin, then minor parts like swords, shoes and her gun. Might go back and pick out some parts of the jacket in a different colour - buttons etc.

Thanks for your comments, everyone, it really helps!

Ok, so the green came up looking a treat. Pray tell mon capitan, how do you plan to do the ornate dragon detailing on the jacket? If you you pull it off I will personally mail you a honey baked ham as congrats.

Seriously though, the green by itself looks wicked.

Archibald Jack
