Wait England has hidden cameras all over the country? How fething paranoid is the government, I mean can't people have some privacy, how are people supposed to have fun when they are being watched all the time.

Mandeville? Hah.

Anyway, don't they usually take an indigenous animal, Disneyify it and give it a name that works for that country?

Apparently CCTV cameras are the only animals (?) left in jolly old England.

Not sure what the fuss is all about really - they are OK as mascots go. Mascots are always cheesy and naff anyway. I think the real issue is the money spent on them; lets be honest, people would be whinging about them no matter what they looked like.

Should have just dusted off the old redcoats and muskets. Put those currently on welfare into them and march them round everywhere during the games. What can be more fun than watching a regiment of smartly dressed people marching in formation?

...and occasionally getting flogged for minor rules infractions?

We should have gone with some sort of Bulldog. Makes way more sense - but oh no, it's too agressive! Can't have something overtly British - it's not 'inclusive' enough...

I mean, what could be more inclusive than a giant neon cock?

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

An excellent design from one perspective and one perspective only.

You can manufacure cheap stamped foam toys from this design. There is no real depth, just a face and back.

These mascots are 100% designed around cheap tampography in order to sell sell sell while costing next to nothing to produce.

Some fat cat will get their moneys worth on a well honed profit margin from a public project far from the realities of public tender, maybe these mascots do represent the Uk after all.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

Ooh...you really do have a chip on your shoulder about the UK, don't you? It's actually pretty funny, and quite random.

I mean, of all the countries to bang on about... Britain? There are waaaaaay worse places!

You're a fething weirdo, man.
