Hey people!
So I just started a Ork army and I wanted to make them a little... Different

I Decided to go with a Spanish/Mexican themed army..
I'll be giving all of my stand out characters (warboss, deffdread etc.) cool spanish names and some select few might have a mighty Sombreo

So, here are some snaps.. Nothing is completed yet and I would love some C&C

A few Goffs I painted before.. I can always add Yellow

And a scratch built ork tank.. I'll soon Spanish it up...

I love the adobe coloring of the Kan! It is truly a MexiKan. I suggest El Caminos for Trukks, and Ford trucks for Battlewagons. They would go with your sombrero warboss.

Ole! Very nice work on the Warboss' sombrero. The yellow is well painted too; it can be a tricksy colour at times. Altogether a damn fine project and I'll be looking forward to more.

Not only is this a rather original idea, but really its a PERFECT idea for Orks. Never EVER thought of doing a bandidos style Ork force. This is going to be epic my friend. Keep us posted

You had me at the sombreo bike rider. The rest fit the theme by color, but that's about it. I'd love to see a pinata style kan. Definitely needs some ponchos too, although it'd be a lot of work to greenstuff all that. Also, when you say Spanish/Mexican, those can be quite different depending on the direction you want to take it. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this though.

And I agree with the sentiment that you need to go further with it. Otherwise all you've got is a yellow ork army.

Make your Kommandos (if you have them) have coonskin caps and wear buckskin jackets, complete with fringe. Boys need more ponchos and sombreros. I love the pinata-wielding Runtherd idea.

As a Spaniard I´m offended, a single sombrero and some yellow does not a Spanish/Mexican army make.

Now if you were to put more ponchos, big moustaches and a mighty Matador Warboss (or mek) we´ll be talking about a cool army to play.
