So the rumors all point to some kind of fantasy forgeworld (Warhammer Forge) coming out this year with big resin models for collectors.
So... wishlist time! What would you actually buy from them? Keeping in mind it will be pricey and it will be resin.
I would really hope they'd go all in for an Araby army, or Nippon or Cathay. But I still wouldn't buy them so that's out of the scope of this thread.

Well, personally, I'd like to see something related to Beastmen and/or Slaanesh. I've no idea what they would do with beastmen, but I'd like to see it!

Plastic dark riders.
In seriousness:
Dark elf Hydras, I can never seem to get mine to stick together/to the base (without bending said base)!... They have alot of cool potential too, I don't think the current models do them any justice.
I see dragons as being a large part of this "warhammer forge"
Thanks Kid_Kyoto, I don't think I would have found out about that other than this thread. I may put some money aside for any and everything dark elf.

No prob. The rumor is like I said resin, pricey, focus is new stuff, not replacements or models to fill gaps. Also rumors of 'Imperial Armor' type supplements with rules for the new monsters and units.
There are weaker rumors of new (or so old they're new) races like Chaos Dwarfs but those seem farther off.

Dwarf Zeppelin seems the kind of thing they'd go for.
There already is the dragon.
Potentially I can see them doing Fantasy scale ships and boats. Maybe a naval boarding action style supplement?
I can see them taking up Warhammer Siege too. So siege towers, 'proper' trebuchets, etc.
It'll be assorted 'random encounter' style beasties mostly, I imagine. - 'Wild' Griffons perhaps?

This is a hard question to answer, because, unlike say, Imperial Guard, there are few natural "superheavies", or alternate tanks.
Maybe they would go the "ultra detailed model" route, and make a Knights Panther regiment, or Kislev units and so on.
I might buy some of those, but personally, I would prefer such things to be pewter, and not resin.

I could see them making models for mounts, since GW doesn't seem interested in producing new models for a lot of them (Griffon, Manticor, etc.).
Also, a Lizardmen Thunderlizard.

It would be cool if they did some Dogs of War stuff. Nippon, Cathay, and Araby all would be awesome as well.
Personally I'd be interested in BUYING any sort of mercenary stuff.
My first army for Fantasy would've been Dogs of War had they not been so damned outdated! (Also my favorite unit, Pirazzo's Lost Legion, is pretty much the worst DoW unit. )

I am interested in anything awesome they come up with
Personally Dark Elf and Skaven and Chaos Dwarf stuff preferred.
They should browse the Warhammer Online concept art http://www.warhammeronline.com/conceptart/index.php . Then produce everything to do a military camp or other iconic terrain for all races.
BTW they will not produce GW leftovers from the army books (Jabberslythe, HPA) but only new things.

I can see them going for some of the things that have been dealt with in the past, but dropped for one reason or another.
Things like a Kislev expansion to the Empire lists with Kislev foot troops, winged lancers and heroes riding bears would be a good addition. I always did like those...

The rumor as it currently stands is that their initial effort will be creating models for "mounts" that can be used by multiple armies. Dragons and griffons are what immediately come to mind. The mamoth is a good one, but that may well be one of the large plastic kits GW will do. I think it'd be cool to see other "dinosaurs" for lizardmen; undead giants; bigger contraptions by the dwarf/skaven/empire.
I think thats the hard part, both GW and Warhammer Forge are approaching similar things simultaneously so it will be interesting to see who ends up with what.
