He makes me happy. It looks like he going to be another Soul collector for Cryx. Though he may gain some extra bonuses if I am reading description right. Maybe gaining temporary spells or abilities from those he destroys.

See that? That thing just stuffed two other things into that bigger thing! What in Morrow's name is going on?"

He pleases me greatly, even if he does dwarf that 40mm base.

He looks like he has a bad back with that posture, sort of like an elderly man...

The legs look a little weedy but I think this is going to be the base for many a 40k Daemon Prince.

If that upsets your fluff stomach, buy a case of "it's just a game"-bizmo and get over it.

The 3D rotation shots of him on the PP site are worth checking out. Some cool detailing on the sides you can't see above, etc.

So glad I went Cryx!

I take it he's a jack? With damage grid rather than health points?

No doubt----do some corrosion on that armor and add a few Nurgle symbols.

While I agree that this model could serve as an amazing basis for a nurgle prince conversion- I have to toss out the idea that that head in particular would look smashing on an iron warriors prince.

I can't decide if I like it or not. That posture makes it look like the range of motion of the model would be really very limited.

Happy to see PP finally release a large model that looks really quite good. It has been too long.

Sexy, sexy iron lich. Chest cavity looks nonstandard, compared to the slayer chassis' glow. Any guesses what he's stuffed with?

Oh, and looks like those might NOT be arc nodes on Erebus: Could just be imitating his boss.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also: Holy crap he dwarfs that 40mm base. Hell, he'd probably dwarf a 50mm, looking at his proportions.

No...he's a Warcaster. Just a very Large Warcaster. Dude could have easily been on a large base.

You know, what makes this large PP model work (and most other Cryx stuff work) while the rest of their 'jacks etc. suck is proportion. The legs may look somewhat weedy, but they're not -completely- incapable of supporting the torso, like all the other 'jacks.

I like, and will find it second-hand to turn into a Chaos conversion. Being in Seattle means there's a LOT of second-hand PP around...

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

His legs look a bit gimped. I think I would pose his leg on a jack rubble or a rock.

Well, at least this is a unique warcaster again, unlike Mr. "Bearded Butcher with Club and Bags" Harkevich (yeah, I´m exagerrating a bit).

A nice model with potential to be used in other systems (I´m thinking Deamon Prince for 40k here). If I´d play Cryx I´d get him for sure I guess.

He's pretty cool, a bit silly, but if he's anything like I'd like him to be rules-wise I'm totally picking him up.

I'm not a huge fan of the Jacks PP makes, but I have to say this guy looks really good. Mostly well proportioned, and could be used in lots of different places.

And yeah, 'Iron Warrior Daemon Prince' was my first thought as well.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

I say this as a Necron player, but it's too characterful for a Necron piece. Far too ornate and sinister. There's a mechnical clinical (and even sterile) evil to Necrons. They are all similar to one another, all very hard-edged and manufactured. This is more Chaotic. Look at the shoulder pads. The exhausts. The face even!

This is a Daemon Prince. Not a Necron.

I know he's awesome looking and needs a medium base but Cryx are still a little short small based casters. So if this is Scaverous whats Erebus look like

Soz, didn't mean is he a warjack. Was just wondering if he had the same damage system as jacks or a standard health bar like normal casters.

Either way i'm getting him!
