Got some new figures up on the shop, a unit of fire support troopers. They are £8 for 6, so £1.34 each! Whoot!

They have separate heads. The ends of the guns are separate too, so they can be assembled with a selection of different guns.

Hope the images are big enough. They were mastered by me.

The weapon and armor pad design are conflicting with the sudden very smooth and round head.

Could be some good chaos cultists or something along those lines. I think the guns are a little too big for my tastes but that can be easily fixed. Pretty cool.

Are these resin?

The guns are heroic scale. They can be assembled with different muzzles and converted.

The heads are separate so you could change them for Pig Iron or West Wind if you don't like the current "Pyro" design.

I'm not criticising anyone's aesthetic sense. I just want to point out that these are going to be fairly convertible if you don't like the current design.

I know they are interchangeable, i just thought it might as well as look good incase anyone want to buy the whole thing , and not as bits.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Is it the pictures or are these guys a little 'squat'? Height depending they'll make great IG Stormtroopers.

Interchangable weapons are a good idea.

Overall I like the models, the overall aesthetic, and the swappable heads.

The weapons are a bit 'heroic' for my taste, but the swappable aspect is very nice.

The giant hoses connecting the weapons are the deal breaker for me. Much like the kasrkin, they'll be a pain to remove and resculpt. If they were an extra add-on, I'd be buying a bunch.

Overall, I'm really impressed with Ramshackle's stuff

These troops look pretty good. Not particularly great detail, but I could definitely see these getting use in necromnunda, dark heresy, traitor guard, etc.

Honest opinion, I think this "style" of figure is very dated. The clunky form and clothing "folds" always suggest to me a lack of skill on the sculptors part to be able to capture truely scaled human proportions and the dynamics of movement.

This sculpting style is very similar to Pig Iron, whom I recently tried out (against my own instincts) and actually found, from first hand experience that they were not my "cup of tea".

One thing I will say however, is that a bad photo OR a bad paintjob will do nothing to advertise a figure properly. The photo shown here is very amature (about as good as I could do, and I'm crap!) and the paint job again, looks very beginner-ish....if the OP could get some better photos done and invest in a good painter, I'm thinking Angel Gilradez good by the way, it could do wonders for this line.....unless of course my original analysis was correct, and then no amount of paint of photography will help it.

Man down, Man down....

I like 'em. The interchangeable gun barrels wotsit is a good idea indeed. The overall look is just fine, a unit of Cultists for the taking there I feel.

And £8 for 6 mini's ain't too shabby neither.....Good stuff sir!

I like them. Good basic guys for a range of uses. Very well thought out. I don't feel every miniature needs to look like it escaped from some sort of gothic museum with lots of superheroic details. Your characters stand out more if the line troops are plain.

The paint job really hurts these guys, they look like a giant blob of brown goo. The unpainted ones look fine, if a bit too bloated.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Any way of getting a coparison photo to the side of other figure lines?

Good looking, but the photo with the black on grey didn't show the figures details very well in the lighting.

How many come in a set, and do you have platoon options? Do you have options without that big hose on them?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
