Is the website http://hoardobits.com/cgi/hob/index.pl legit? I was looking for some bitz for my ork army and the site had deals like 20 boys for $19.99 and 3 Deffkoptas for $11.66. These deals sent up some immediate red flags. Does anyone know about the site or have any experience with them?

from the prsuit of the looted bio titan ... the firefight had just subsided. Hordes of Orks lay dead , their corpses strewn across the ground in numbers only matched by the corpses of the opposing Tyranid broods. The only forces left standing were a handful of teks and a lone warboss. The warboss had lost countless looted rhinos, predators, baneblades, and even a warhonud titan. While pondering his massive loss, he noticed a lone surviving Tyranid; a badly damaged carnifex. In a stroke of random genius , he ordered the surviving teks to, not kill, but revive the fallen carnifex. It took them merely two hours for a squig was a perfect replacement for a brain and spare parts were abundant. The teks succeeded in looting a biological specimen! The Warboss (later to be known as the founder of the Insekt Ridaz), the battle hardened teks, and their new pet lived to fight another battle. They later went on to form the Insekt Ridaz, a minute group of Orks with a passion for looting Tryanids and eventually, even other biological specimens.

Hoard 'O Bits is legit. I've bought from them 5 or 6 times. Mostly small purchases, all Chaos/Daemons bits. Most of their deals aren't amazing, but they are at least all reasonable.

Have a look at any of the several hundred threads on bits and you will find a recommendation of Hoard-O-Bits .

A lot of people swear by it, however I ordered stuff from him before and it never arrived. When I contacted him 3mths after I had paid for it he never responded. I waited a week and sent several messages but with no reply, so I opened a dispute with ebay and he failed to reply to them over the 7 days too. So a Paypal dispute was opened by ebay and I got my money back. He then went on to block me from his ebay shop, so I'd be weary.

I've ordered bitz from Hoard 'O' Bitz a few times now, most recently last year. No issues. It was a mix of Ork, Guard and Tau stuff. Come to think of it that's the last time I did a bitz order.

their ebay site is pretty much spectacular. Ordered dozens of stuff and got all of them and i live in turkey so it is international shipping.
but i am actually not sure if those are the same guys. The safest bet is asking them on ebay just to be sure the site is theirs.

Buy with confidence from them-I've also had great lucky. My old roommate and I bought a ton of Eldar, Tyranid and Space Marine bitz, plus auctions, and everything showed up in a reasonable amount of time, fair prices (we didn't buy overpriced stuff) and I'd happily buy from them again.

Their website is a new storefront of their ebay overflow.
I have ordered from HoB for the past 2 years many times. I have a hard time finding better bits prices online, and if you live on the east coast in the USA no one will deliver to you faster that is a major bits seller.

I love Hoard O' Bits. I won a few auctions (I would not recommend buying from the Buy-it-now, simply because the Auction deals are far better). They combine shipping, which is freakin' sweet, and each time I ordered from them I got the bits within three days. It was glorious.
I think it helps that I live within 2hrs driving distance of the guy/store.

They are legit, and 99% of the time you get what you want with zero hassle. However that 1% of the time something goes wrong, their customer service is horrible and its practically impossible to get an answer from them.
I've ordered many times from them, but the last time I ended up getting double-charged and no amount of emails could get them to address my problem. Finally I opened up a dispute w/ my card company and it got sorted out. I actually would buy again from them, the deals are that good, but they banned me from their site after I gave them a negative review for that transaction lol.
