How do you react to bans/warnings?

When you get a mod warning or temporary ban how do you react?

I usually try to apologize for my behavior through pm and/or clarify any misunderstandings.

As a moderator on another forum I try not to stomp on the toes of a moderator on any forum I post on.

If I am warned/banned I politely email or PM for clarification (if I am unsure as to why I was warned or disagree with the warning) or for apology (if I realize I done wrong).

As a rule I never push on clarification or arguing the warning. I've had enough peope push hard on warnings to not want to inflict that on others.

I think I got told once to ceist and desist my 'discussion' with another poster while the thread was sorted out, that was the only time I think I've ever had a communication from a Mod on a 'official' basis.

Of course I am generally here just to enjoy spending some time with fellow gamers, not really one who strives on conflict.

1)If I know I did something wrong, I'll acknowledge it and take my punishment like a man.

2)If I don't understand why something was warned about, I'll question it but depending on the explanation I'll either resort to 1 or just shrug it off and enjoy a break from Dakka.

Unless i feel it was particularly unfair i'll apologise or simply accept it.

Never got one. If I did, and I knew why, I would just get away from dakka to blow off steam and come back with a fresh outlook. If I didn't know why, I would simply ask and get to the bottom of things.

I bludgeon the perpatraitor into Submission.
So Argue with the Moderator as to the reason for my Warning.

I always think the worst part is losing the quick reply, so Irratating. I usually don't post during that time. I only get warnings from arguing with people who are very wrong.

I never respond in quick reply any ways so it's not a big deal to me.

The only warnings I've recieved blocked the quick reply box. NBD and not wort arguing, although I seem to remember the first one seemed like total BS.

I guess if you diserve it take it like a champ, if you don't try to talk it out with them then accept it because in the end, they are the mods and your just random internet guy #32423545 or internet gal # 17.

I've had one warning which seemed to be a misunderstanding in part. I apologized for it; I don't see any other way one should react to something like that anyway.

I've gotten some warnings. I deserved them, because I broke the rules.

Since I implemented my "Put everyone who contibutes nothing but drama and trolling on ignore" policy I haven't had a single one, though.

If its bs, I'll explain why its bs in an email (in the case of a ban), and then sigh as I know that whatever I say will change nothing.

If I deserved it, I usually just don't respond.

I don't get warnings anymore.

I've never received a warning or a ban, other then Alpharius once telling me in-thread not to bump a news post with lame humor. He was right, but I don't think that counts for the purposes of this thread; I've never gotten (what I presume) comes via a PM or... however they work, I don't know.

If i know i am in the wrong, ill put my hands up to it.

If however it was for a reason i feel is unfair or makes no sense, i will reply and ask the MOD to elaborate a bit and explain my side.

The two warnings I have received were totally justified. So, yeah, took it on the chest and apologised to the mod for my douchebaggery....

Well, I've only had one warning on here, someone made a purposeful trolling comment which I fell for hook, line and sinker and replied to with an outburst. But yes of course it wasn't the mods fault and I was as polite as possible

Once got a temporary ban on Warseer for starting a rumour that Bugman's Bar in Warhammer World were advertising for people suffering from dwarfism to come and work in the bar, uniform provided.

Also from B&C for numerous infractions, made worse by the fact that I swear that one of the mods must have had a dartboard with a picture of a squat on it :(

Why the hell would you ignore a mod warning though? That makes no sense...
