Being a mod on another forum I know just how hard it is to try and do a good job and keep the forum in order while getting along with everyone at the same time. You'll find that contary to your own belief there always IS a reason being a ban or warning given from a bad post you made all the way to a mod getting fed up of seeing your name being reported.
If I myself became the subject of a warning or ban then depending on the circumstance I'd send a PM to the Mod in question either to clarify my position or to hold up my hands and say I was sorry. You'll be suprised what an impact that can make when you show your willing to change the way you post when its rubbing people up the wrong way.

I haven't recieved any infractions on this site, but on others I see if I think it's fair or not, decide it isn't, ask for further information and recieve a permaban for arguing against decisions.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I've had one warning via PM if I recall correctly and that put me on the straight and narrow for at least a few years.

I don't argue per se, but when I think a call by a mod is bogus I send a PM stating so.
I preface said PM by saying "their house...their rules" and all that, but I state my case/perspective on the matter. It rarely (if ever) changes anything, but that isn't the expectation.

After clearing my head from this state of mind:
I usually apologize or if the reason is unclear then ask why I got the warning. Just 2 minutes ago I got a warning on how I posted the "feth yea" meme to one of the threads. I asked the reason to it then apologized. I cant afford on going to war against the mods.

Ive only received a few warnings over the years, and I deserved every single one of them. So Im just the understanding guy when I get them. I apologize mostly, because again, I know I deserve them when I get them. Like the Police, I feel for Moderators, because they basically get to break up playground fights. But sometimes no matter how much you tell yourself to leave it alone, you cant, and end up saying things you shouldnt

I got one on 40konline when a mod decided to get down into an argument on rules, then keep his mod hat on while he did it. So he argued with me AND modded me rather than let another mod handle it while he was emotionally invested in the discussion.
I protested the CRAP out of that one.
Every other one I've gotten, I was like "lol I deserved that", since generally it's about something where I thought "oh man I am SO getting warned for this haha"

I was perma banned from 40k online, because of trying to get interest in the Deffrolla petition. Didnt even bother talking about it, they just emailed me that I was permanently banned for spamming their site. Infact, I was banned from alot of 40k sites for that. Even after I started asking MODs if it was fine

All of the above. It depends on which mod warnbanned me. I don't get actual banned anymore and the last three times I've been warned (and thus banned) have been due to the conduct of others. There's no overturning bans though so I usually just move on with my day.

I've had warnings on a couple of boards.
They were for "Undue and excessive sarcasm" ( I kid thee not) and the mod(Troll)s who warned me stated that such was against board rules.
It wasn't. There were, indeed, no restrictions regarding sarcasm contained within the pages of all of the rules.
I'm an Aussie, You can take my sarcasm when you can pry it from my cold, dry wit.
Never been banned.
Not even when I tried my damnedest to get the trolls to do so. Not even so much as a week's grace or cooling off period.

I've only been warned once here, and I deserved it, to be fair. I... think I replied with an apology? I certainly meant to.
