So what is your favorite GW Monster sculpt? Mine still is the LOTR Mumak (one day I will figure out how to use one in fantasy) then LOTR Balrog and then the Stonehorn.

So whats yours?

Edit; OOOHH! MONSTER sculpt! Sorry about that, hehe. Well I like the Ogre Kingdoms Thundertusk. That counts as a monster, right?

Are we counting Forgeworld here? Because the Toad Dragon is absolutely awesome.

Not counting Forgeworld, I'm really fond of the Terrorgeist.

Also a contender is the Forge World Carmine Dragon.

Carmine Dragon if we count FW. If not... I'd have to say the current version of Cold Ones, or the Thundertusk. Zombie Dragon is a close third.

The new beastmen stuff look really good. That Krok-Gar looks good. Never seen the siege giant in real life. It's awful expensive.

I think Stonehorns look really really cool. And they are very neat concept. Their faces scraped away and they don't even notice as they bask their heads against mountains. Now THAT'S my kind of pony.

Skrag is pretty out there. Maybe the most gruesome model in the game. Guy with chopped off hands, with blades inserted in their places, hooks deep into his back pulling a giant cauldron filled with blood and guts from people and things he hacks apart. Not even Hollywood makes slasher movies that gruesome. "GET IN THE POT!"

Forgeworld Greater Daemons. Like Bloodthirster. He looks very Balrog-y.

Thirded for carnosaur. There's a reason I have one in all of my chaos armies across 40k and fantasy (and no lizard army in sight ). Stonehorn is very nice too, and the GUO is my favorite Citadel greater daemon, much better sculpt than the keeper or thirster IMO. I also really dig the LotR cave drake but haven't found a use yet:

If we're talking FW, the keeper, the toad dragon and the exalted vermin lord all top my monster list

Not bad for a simplified sculpt, not bad at all.

The mangler squigs. I seriously love the sculpts. Own 2 sets (if I manage to GS repair the first pack, they were almost failcast beyond redemption, it'll take alot of sculpting to re-build their faces, but hey, atleast both mangler units won't look the same...)

+1 for Stegadon with Arachnarok Spider as a very close second. While I like the Zombie Dragon I do wish it was a bit smaller.

Stegadon, Hydra, Cave Drake.

Not a Carnosaur fan. The hands are dumpy. And I did have a huge paleontology kick when I was younger so it's sort of not scientifically what I would want!

Now only a CSM player.

Gotta be the FW Vermin lord and the Chimera. saying that the Araknarok is pretty tasty too

To drown our sorrows with our English beer!

Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood.

I have a lot of favourites, but the ones I really love (that are GW design) are:
1. Shaggoth! That thing is great.
2.Belakor (there's an apostrophe in there somewhere)
3.Hell Pit Abomination (Great kit, very "warhammery".)
4.Carnasaur
5.Stonetusk (mighty tempted to get one to convert into a warshrine)

Just about everything that has come out for fantasy recently has been drool-inducing. It really makes me sad that nobody I know plays it.

But the Vampire Counts Mortis Engine is my favorite one so far, even though I just found out about it two days ago. I can't wait for what they'll come out with for chaos.

This is a tough one. I have alot of the new kits and like them equally. Have 3 of the Black Dragon, Zombie Dragon/Terrorgheist 1 each, hell pit is fantastic, my mangler is awesome, both of my aracnaroks, can't wait for coven throne, chimera is beautiful so well hard to say which is my favorite. Hmmm?!

Hell Pit Abomination - bonkers, but in a good way

River Trolls - monstrous infantry, so they count, right? Anyhoo, awesome details and an improvement on what were great models in the first place

No one else for the current giant? It's the perfect balance of scary monster mixed with Warhammer cartoonyness.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.
