Well it started sensibly enough, doing what everyone else is doing i.e. raiding the spare parts in the immortals and lychguard boxes to make some crypteks. I went with warrior bodies as I wanted them to be a bit smaller in keeping with their warrior-ish stat-line. Here are the tremorstave and eldritch lance.



Ever since reading the new codex I'd had this idea for the "harp" of dissonance though, so I thought I'd see how it came out.



After that I may have got a bit carried away...

Wow, they are great!

Brainscan, nearly everything is from a warrior, praetorian or immortal box (with the exception of the drum kit). Specifically:

The crypteks are warriors with deathmark heads, praetorian backpacks cut up on the shoulders and lychguard dangly codpiece thingies.
Lead guitar of dissonance is a cut down dispersion shield, praetorian staff shaft and half a particle caster for tuning.
Voltaic bass guitar is a cut down shield, the barrels off a gauss blaster and 2 halves of particle casters for tuning.
Lead singer's microphone is courtesy of a hyperphase sword with an orb from a praetorian back plate.
Seismic drum kit is the overlord's lectern from a command barge, 2 dispersion shield centres, the cymbals are idler wheels from a 1:76 panther tank and the drumsticks are cut from more hyperphase swords.

This has to be the most amazing thread I've seen in a long time

The idea is good, the modelling is good, the painting is good but the lead guitarist seems to have some trouble playing chords... maybe some extra practise would do good
