We all know what the top rated worst cities in any given country. But they don't really tell you why. Well that ends now, We the people have a voice and i want to hear why you think a city is the worst.

For me, The worst city is Kansas city, Either KS or MO. There as been a shooting every couple of days killing multiple people in each case. These shootings have been black on black and white on black. One has just been called a hate crime. Just about every water main has broken and has had to be repaired. And not to mention, The Kansas City Chiefs.

What do you guys think? What is the worst city in the world and why?

Im going to put Flint Michigan into the hat. Im not kidding, people that live around Flint, usually talk about just leveling the entire city, residents still inside, with bombs, and then turning it into a world record parking lot. It looks pretty even with KS Missouri, though its a bit worse in the violent crime area

I think the property crime is down due to most people living in apartments and not actually owning property at all, so the violence just pours out into the streets Its a fething terrible place to go, Im not even kidding, there are places in Flint, as a white person, you simply dont go to, specially after dark, youll end up on the news laying face down in a ditch

I am going to say Murmansk or Nikkel in Russia, you would be hard pressed to find cities more polluted, or generaly misserabel anywhere else.

Wow, I never thought i would actually come across how bad KC, KS sucked in nice colors, You might be right about flint. But that list doesn't include drug labs being raided. That would be a fun list to look at. Sorry to say this, But i think alot of cities in russia might take the cake. Along with a ton in africa. Any where, where its either burning hot or freezing cold takes to the cake. You have to put up with a craptastic city and yet its to hot or cold to do anything else. Ouch... That would suck. Atleast in alabama you could screw your cousin. (Yea i went there) More, I must know more about the worst cities in the world!

Boston's nice. Jay-Walking is acceptable to cops. But not to Drivers. Watch the feth out crossing the street.

Also, we used to have full scale Mob Wars. That was so much fun. They still pull bodies from the Charles River.

You can't go to Southie (Southish Boston) without an escort or knowledge of the land. You better watch your ass, or you're gonna get robbed and beaten up if you ask a question.

Also Despite me wanting to go to school there i haate berkely. Been down town once. Only shops there are those strange liberal snotty shops that think their better then you because they know what strand of hair bob marly used to play the guitar with.

In Texas either
1. Houston. Swamp heat + mosquitoes + occasional hurricanes + larger than some countries + Frazzled lurks there during the week, kind of like the smog monster.

2. McAllen. Its hot and dusty. Occasional Mexican cartel happy funtime. Did I mention its hot like surface of the sun hot?

Head shops... Yea they run wild in my neck of the woods also. damn hippies trying to push their hemp loving crap on us red meat eating gun toting americans. Its hard to say what makes a city so craptastic, Maybe a guide line will help some of the other people feel free to make a comment on how much they hate their city.

Crime is a huge thing here, The higher the crime rate the worse the city can be called. But then again, A really low crime rate is also something else that will make a city hit the tops of this list. No one wants to live in a city thats perfect.

General discontentment for the business in your city. Head shops spike this list. Also, the fact that there are 5 banks all on the same intersection. Here in lawrence we got rid of a burger king, The only one on the side of town i live on, and we replaced it with a health food store for hippies and yuppies.

Highways, Personally i don't like driving to the store and have to take a high way. See dallas or austin. Nothing but roads to get to where you need to get. Thats just not my bag.

Police, Either good cops or bad. I live 15 mins away from a town that will pull you over if you have long hair. Then again, I have been questioned by police that are the coolest people ever. So what do you think of the law enforcement

Good place to raise kids? This is one for the older people. I wouldn't want to raise a child in a small town or a huge city, this could bump up a crappy city on the list just because of to many pedos.

I hope this helps, I you run this check list and find that there isn't a positive thing about the city you are thinking about. Its more than likely a craptastic city.

Camden, NJ. Guns get hauled in from across the Delaware river. people shoot each other, nonstop. The police just try to keep themselves safe, and nearly allow the shootings to resolve themselves as long as no innocents get injured (most of them have moved out anyway). It's the closest thing to a post-apocalyptic hellhole warzone I've ever encountered.

I think head shop and hippie hate could make its own thread and get more posts than anything. i might try this out... Hippie hate... I don't think it would be allowed. Might make some hippies really mad and make them protest dakka... Yes, but in NJ it's just a city whose name is synonymous with violence.

Borås in Sweden. Its a small crappy town. Rains most of the year and it snows during the spring. And the population are indoctrinated to think its the best town ever.

Compare that to, say Mogadishu in Somalia, where there's a civil war that's been going on for 20 years now, and bandits walk the streets with AK-47s. Bogota, Colombia or Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, where violence and murder is a constant part of life.

Or, perhaps you should compare to Dallol, Ethiopia. It's in the middle of the desert, with temperatures reaching 148F, and has pretty constant earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and rivers of acid flowing just underground. And, the only real employment is working in the mines to mine salt.

I've heard from Navy friends that the worst hell-hole someplace in India. Passed a dead body in the gutter while on shore leave, 3 days later saw same body rotting in gutter while on way back to ship.

First off, FUNNY. I have to drive thirty mins to get a good burger. And hate to tell you dude. but when you don't live in a third world country the problems change. Here in america we don't have war lords killing every one. I get people like the BTK killer, who you don't know who he is, At least a warlord you know who not to screw with. Around here Who knows, you could be shot by a nice little old lady. You could die while picking up your children from school. Doesn't mean our cities aren't any worse, Just means they are on a different scale.

Kinda like lower class problems and upper class problems. I don't have the season packet to my Ramen noodles, They don't have a $500 bottle of wine, Different problems for different people.

Until you include that caveat, no where in the US can rightly qualify.

If I was going to suggest a city in the "first world", I'd probably say East St. Louis. I've been lost down there before, and it's I think the only time I've ever felt genuinely scared in my life.

Can I cast a vote for the entire state of New Jersey? The drivers are awful, traffic is always backed up, and the central/east portion of it gets NYC's crap (literally and figuratively). Only the western portion of Jersey is decent, and it's all woods-no people. No wonder the western portion is okay...

The bulk of the people that have posted on this thread got the meaning behind it off the back and have had fun with it. I didn't mean for this thread to be any thing more than fun, Not funny. But fun. If you think about it... Only people from first and second world countries will even see this, and very few second world countries will be playing any of the games this web site was made for. So why address any thing other than the people who would actually be on this site?

Its like you took the Scots love of "damp" and ramped the temperature 40 degrees to make it "sauna."

As for saying London is a dump, what the hell are you smoking? London is one of the best places in the world to live. And even if the gang crime is bad in some parts (and believe me, I know. I am just thankful I am just barely on the fringes of it, not mixed up right in it like some people I know) then most of London is as safe as anywhere in the world.
