Hi all-

Just wanted to know what the top most liked Badab war chapter is on Dakka. Astral Claws get my vote, hands down.

It's fixed up now. The Star Phantoms are pretty cool, their Captain is cooler. I actually have a small army of their 9th Company.

2. Novamarines. Because...they are Novamarines.

3. Salamanders. 1st founding=mad bonus points. The Salamanders trilogy was awful though, not sure why they're still in third place after that...

When I first read notes and saw the pics in the 40K compedium, for some reason the Raptors stood out to me.

I chose Tyrant's Legion, but strictly speaking they are not a chapter. I prefer the Lamenters to the Astral Claws. Also, you left out Tiger Claws, who I'd be tempted to pick to prove my old school pedigree.

Carcharadons! I bought their Commander Tyberos when I was at warhamer world! The first time I saw them was on the What's new today blog. They were painted up all gory and it was wicked. They aslo had a Caetus Assault Ram and 9 Lightning Claw Terminators with Tyberos (AV 13/11/10 Flying Fast Tank that can tranport 10n Termies, has Frag Assault Launchers, 36" Flat out, an 18" range Melta Lg Blast, Assault vehicle, carrying a Captain with Lightning Claw and Chainfist who can freely split his attacks in the same turn and 9 LC Termies, with Furious Charge and the Captain gains Preferred Enemy against the First unit he kills in CC? yes please!)

I've liked the Fire Hawks dating back to the Warhammer 40K Compendium. Wasn't a huge fan of the fluff in the IA books turning them into raging dickheads, but oh well.

Executioners, cause you must be bam to fight in your own way and adhere to your code of honor during a war. Even if that means turning on your allies (see Pyre of Glory incident)...

Except for that price I could use SO MANY crisis suits...
