Lucius enters the room and swaggers to the bar looking left and right whilst licking his lips in a seductive manner. As he reaches the bar he looks to his left and sees Kharn,

"Hello there hansom I can show you the delights of Slaanesh" chuckles Lucius. Kharn puts down his skull shaped tankard and stares at Lucius' scarred face and cries "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD" and throws himself at Lucius.....epic fight ensues

My money would be on Kharn, the thing is would Kharn turn into Lucius surly Khorne himself would bitch slap Slannesh if he tried to take Khorne's toys.

I don't think Kharn feels pride after killing something. >.>

Doesn't really matter, his god would bring him back anyhow. How many times has Kharn died?

Kharn doesn't even have a mind anymore. He doesn't feel anything after he kills someone. By sheer power alone Kharn would rip Lucius in half; he won't feel a thing even when Lucius lashes him with that whip of his. At worst, it would feel like an insect bite, which would just goad Kharn further. The only thing Slaanesh will find by looking into Kharn's mind afterwards is an endless roar of "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD" and the eternal comtempt of Khorne.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

'She sat on the corner, gulping the soup down, uncaring of the heat of it. They had grown more watery as of late she noted, but she wasn't about to beggar food from the Imperials or the "Bearers of the Word." Tau, despite their faults at least didn't have a kill policy for her race.'

I say it'd be a pretty damn close fight, but Kharn will just barely win.

I'd say Kharn by a long shot.
I know that Lucius is an epic swordsman, but through sheer power Kharn would rip hgim apart like the rest of his victims, then move on to the next without registering who or what Lucius was... Slaanesh would be pissed, but it can't really do anything about it.

I imagine Slaanesh knows this, so keeps him away

Kharn wins by sheer power and strength and the fact he is never freaking alone. Oh Just Kharn you say? Well his 100 Berserkers will surround and beat the snot out of the Emperor's Childern's army and laugh as they drink the blood of their enemies.
I may be an Imperial Player. But don't mess with kharn. He will eat your heart for well. Food. Not that he cares.

Not even a contest.

Lucius would toy with Kharn for a while and then slowly start taking him apart, piece by piece. He would take his time so he could enjoy it and allow Kharn to think he was winning so he could savor the crushing defeat all the more.

Kharn is too much of a berzerker (literally). He's in his element butchering his way through masses of infantry and vehicles alike, but against a single, exceptionally skilled and powerful opponent (like Lucius) he wouldn't stand a chance.

Sorry Kharn, but at least there would be blood for the blood god... even if it's yours.

Kharn has claimed more heroes' lives than Lucius. I am sorry. But Lucius got beaten up by Loken Graviel Who had a chainsword. Oh no. A Chainsword. Kharn got cut into pieces. He then is alive again the next day. Lucius took months to recover. Kharn was awake and slaughtering an entire army of the Best Troops out there. Hell He even killed the Emperor's Childern's best Swordsmen. By His lone some self. Kharn wins. Kharn is a good tactician too. Ain't just good fighting skills. Lucius has lost his abilities. He's gone insane. Which makes himself reckless. He's died like how many times? Like 1,000 times? Kharns died dozens of times but its only by going out like a badass. And what Lucius died fighting a Emperor's Childern Commander who just happened to hit him in the right place?

Well Maybe I am racist towards the Emperor's Childern. And because they are purple. but red is way cooler.

That was because Lucius didn't know the rules of engagement. The next time they fought, Lucius kicked Loken's ass. Loken even admits it.

Kharn got cut into pieces. He then is alive again the next day. Lucius took months to recover.

First of all, Lucius comes back to life from death in one day, just like Kharn. Secondly, it didn't take him months to recover (though he did whine about his nose being crooked for months). I'm curious, have you read the HH books?

Kharn was awake and slaughtering an entire army of the Best Troops out there. Hell He even killed the Emperor's Childern's best Swordsmen.

Lucius is the Emperor's Children best swordsman and Kharn didn't kill him.

By His lone some self. Kharn wins. Kharn is a good tactician too. Ain't just good fighting skills.

"The only order worth remembering is charge."
That's an actual quote from Kharn. Read the books; he is not a good tactician. I don't know where you're getting this from.

First of all, Lucius has a higher weapon skill than Kharn. Secondly, we don't know how many times Lucius or Kharn has died, so don't make numbers up. All we know is that they've both died at least once. Thirdly, how do you know that Kharn went out like a badass but Lucius didn't? And lastly, why is it okay for Kharn to get killed but not Lucius?

Normally I would say Lucius, however, Kharn is a champion equal to Lucius, who is just sheer, raw power. Lucius and Kharn are equally formidable in a duel in their own way. With that established, we must fall back on the patron who sponsors them. Khorne is far superior to Slaanesh, though they would both enjoy the suffering of their champion. In the end, Khorne will let Kharn get badly cut up by Lucius, but Kharn will prevail. That said, BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE.

It would be very close indeed Lucius is a master swordsman but his ability to reincarnate just won't do him any good against Kharn who is the mightiest of Khorne's champions and haves just as much favor with chaos. And Kharn is also an incredible fighter. I'll go with Kharn the Betrayer just because he wont back down no matter what while Lucius just isn't as tough, and their skills are pretty much equal in my eyes despite being different.
So +1 on Kharn the Betrayer.

Lucius might be able to win if he used tricks, but that's a long shot. Few can stand up to a World Eater Champion in a stand-up fight, and as Khorne's Chosen Legion, they're completely immune to sorcery. So, I would still say Kharn wins, unless Lucius somehow manages to trick him or something in that vein...

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. Because of the Khornate immunity, Lucius could not possess the body of Kharn, so there goes his biggest trick.

The most humiliating thing that can happen to Slaanesh is not only does Kharn slay Lucius, when Lucius tries to reincarnate through Kharn, Khorne captures it and imprisons it in his Fortress. I wonder what Khorne would ask for ransom from Slaanesh...

Slaanesh would offer his next best champion HOWEVER it would actually be Tzeentch, so Slaanesh would be out two champions, and all the gods sit and laugh at Slaanesh like "HAHAHAHHA NEWB!"

Slaanesh IS a newb. Everyone else in the Warp is older than him. Both the Emperor and Khorne would give Tzeentch a thumbs-up for pulling that off, leading to stupid amounts of "just as planned". Even Isha and Cegorach would share a laugh with the Emperor, elder Chaos Powers and the Ork Gods for making Slaanesh look like an idiot.

Mork comes over to sneakily pat Slaanesh on the back, but actually hits him really hard, then Gork hits him with a massive club for no reason.

I dunno, Slaanesh's been around for 10k years, he isn't a noob anymore. And, in 10k years, he's survived his eternal war with Khorne mostly unscathed.

I was under the impression that the elder Powers disdain Slaanesh more than they disdain each other, simply because:
1) They're older than him
2) He's an outsider; the other Powers were born from the darkness in Human souls while Slaanesh is/was an Eldar deity

This impression is incorrect. According the Lexicanum, the only God Slaanesh has a regular war with is Khorne. Tzeentch and Nurgle are okay with him, though they obviously fight sometimes (because all of the Chaos Gods have fought eachother at one point in the Great Game).

I will use the analogy of the Ninja (Lucius)vs the Punk( Kharn)

Ninja lands, swings his weapons in a suitable ninjalike fashion, screaming at the top of his lungs the "Hi-Yah!" thing. Finally stops. Punk smashes Bottle over his head, pulls of pistol and kills him.

Kharn for sure. Fluff-wise Kharn is a pure badass, the main part of his backstory is killing for gaks and giggles. Main part of Lucius'? Being brought back to life by his god.

Even ingame Kharn would beat his ass down, purely through sheer number of attacks and badassery.

Veteran Sergeant wrote:In the grim darkness of the far future, the guy with a rifle is the weakest man on the battlefield, left to quake in terror, hoping the two or three shots he gets do the job before somebody runs screaming across the battlefield to hit him with an energized stick.

In game I'd have to say Lucius, but not by much.

Lucius gets first turn:

Doom siren = 66.6% chance of wound
6 attacks @ WS 7 = 3 hit. Re-roll brings it up to 4.5 hits.
4.5 hits @ S 4 = 2.25 wounds re roll brings it to 3.25

Kharn retaliates

5 attacks @ WS 7 = 3 hit
3 hits @ S 5 = 2 wounds

Lucius: 2 wounds @ 4+ inv
Kharn: 3.25 wounds @ 5+ inv and the chance of the doom siren

Lucius:
5 attacks @ WS 7 = 3hit. Re-roll brings it to 4 hits
4 hits @ S4 = 2 wounds, reroll brings it to 3

Kharn retaliates

5 attacks @ WS 7 = 3 hit
3 hits @ S 5 = 2 wounds

Lucius: 2 wounds @ 4+ inv
Kharn: 3 wounds @ 5+

Lucius would have it if he got the charge

Kharn attacks first

Plasma pistol hits 2+, wounds 2+

6 attacks @ WS 7 = 3 hit
3 hits @ S 5 = 2 wounds

Lucius retaliates

5 attacks @ WS 7 = 3 hit, re-roll brings it to 4
4 hits @ S 4 = 2 wounds, reroll brings it to 3

Even with the charge Lucius is winning.

Fluff wise, I dunno, same result I suppose. Single combat is not the same as how many people you can kill.

Also, why are people thinking Lucius is a Ninja like character? His whole theme is of an unmatched duelist. Basically specializing in single combat.

Kharn is a mindless bull, point him at something and he will hit it till it bleeds. He would not be even close to Lucius.
