I'm not sure what to think of this film. Some of it looks good, other parts meh. Not sure whether I want to go pay to see it.

It is not a Tim Burton film, and lately, that doesn't seem to be a bad thing.

A friend of mine read the book and said it was good, so I can only hope that the movie is good as well...

After watching a “Behind the Scene” shows he pulls of one of the coolest moves ever. He hooks a vampire by the leg and puts the vampire into a horizontal spin, while in mid air Lincoln takes off the vampires head.

For this scene alone I would pay the $22+ I-MAX 3D Price alone.

On one hand, it gets -1 for Tim Burton getting within a mile of it, but on the other hand, it gets +1 for dripping with sheer awesomesauce.

I'm sure it will be the best piece of Lincoln related fiction since that one Star Trek episode.

Its directed by Timur Berkmambetov (Ironic that a guy who is pretty much the russian Tim Burton has a Russian-ised sounding version of his name

) So it's bound to be pretty bonkers.

Thought it was stupid when I first heard about it, but it's grown on me a lot .. I wanna see it, but like everything else it'll be a wait for cable movie. Just don't really go to theaters these days anymore..

He's a producer, so he has his hands in it. He's not an Executive Producer, though. According to variety.com:
"Produced by Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov, Jim Lemley.
Executive producers, Michele Wolkoff, John J. Kelly, Simon Kinberg, Seth Grahame-Smith."

Either way, Tim Burton's hands are in it. It's gonna be good and I'm going.

I am not sure. It looks okay, but I doubt I'll see it in theaters. I bet it won't be better than The Raven.

The trailers for it don't ooze liquid suck like some other recent trailers I've been unfortunite to watch.

If they were going to make a movie about a President doing "Bad Ass" things, it should have been a movie about Teddy.

Then, you wouldn't even need to make it up!

First movie in a long time that I will actually go to the Theatres on opening night and see.

The Metro gave it 2/5 this morning.

Their principal comments were;

1. Mr Lincoln isn't given enough time to show off mis mean moves.
2. The editing is so fast paced it's hard to see what is going on.
3. The interesting premise that slave sucking vamps were behind the Civil War is not explored.
4. It's difficult to sustain a whole film that has basically only one idea in it.
