Me personally I really cant accept the way all the current space wolves have to have dickensian mutton chops- i want to play as space vikings not space victorians.

My roomie uses Space wolves and they seem pretty savage to me dude, making them long haired and blue eyed pale men will make them just like blood angels with a different symbol and choice of animal. Seems legit

I like my characters to have facial expressions otherwise helmets all round would be fine. In the old editions it was only bloodclaws who had mohawks and there were no mutton chops. I dont imagine them all to be blue-eyed as it clearly says in the fluff that they look different depending on what part of fenris they come from-i paint mine with yellow eyes like a wolf, but i personally imagine them with braids and no muttons- much like the current codex cover. As for blood angels all having long hair and blue eyes i'm not sure thats the case at all fluffwise. I think the new fluff is also trying to make them a bit different with sanguinus now having black hair if i recall hh correctly, though in my mind he will always have brown eyes and blonde hair.

Well, he is meant to stand out and inspire the traitors. Besides, why bother to dive and roll when you can just grab a cultist?

I suppose you can't get rid of all those bits of paper and the chandelier over his head? He might not be too bad without all that frippery.

He looks like an Opera singer. And what is with GW's inability to make a realistic looking haft for their Crozius's? They managed to do it for the DV Chaplain, but it seems every other one they make it twice as large as it needs to be.

LOL! Actually, that never dawned on me... but now that you mention it... in the bin he goes.

The haft on the crozius thing is (and has nearly always been) ridiculous. I don't' care how strong he is... a grot with a broom stick could knock that thing out of his hand. I'm guessing that somewhere in the depths of GW that design on the outside of the haft has become cannon & their sculptors aren't good enough to do it on a normally sized handle.
