So, many of the new codices are introducing a new unit to their perspective armies. Some of these units have been considered 'uber' units like the Chaos Marine's Helldrake, the Tau's Riptide, and the Eldar's Wraithknight. Some of these units have been less 'uber' like the vanilla marines getting Centurions. I suppose the orks could count the Morkanaut/Gorkanaut as their new 'uber' unit (although apparently the classification as uber is up for debate), and the Space wolves look to be getting some shiny new flyers. Hopefully the Blood Angels will be getting their codex update in the next few months, so what would you like to see as their new unit?

Personally, I'd like to see something similar to the centurion. Not a monstrous creature or anything to over the top, but something perhaps really cheesy (which seems to be the direction GW is heading). I'd want this centurion like battlesuites to be able to fly. In fact, just go ahead and call them Blood Gundam, or something similar/more 40kish. I'd be okay with that.

There was a mention in a rumor a while back of Blood Brothers, who were marines who had fought off the black rage. Now if what happened to mephiston is any indication of the changes you go through when defeating the black rage, these guys would be bosses, maybe like paladins in power armor with jetpacks. Ws5, init5, 2 attacks base with pistol+ccw and rage, fnp, furious charge, and 2 wounds. Would be sick

Honestly, I'm thinking Blood Angels will get a unit of DC on mounts, or maybe something Blood Angel-ish.

What I'd like to see is something on par with the Riptide or Wraithknight...but that won't happen.

If they don't get a unit of Space Marines riding giant bats, then it just won't be 40K.

You might laugh, but no one ever thought we would see Space Marines riding giant wolves into battle, and now we have a chariot being pulled by giant wolves, so no absurdity should be out of the question for the Blood Angels. As much as the Space Wolves have Wolf-this, and Wolf-that, it's important to remember that it all started with the Blood Angels and the Blood-this and Blood-that.

Maybe a blood angels version of the dreadknight? Some giant walker suit with huge angel wings would be nasty as hell, but only if it could carry a giant sword and a frag cannon.

Blood Angels riding bats, that might actually break me, but I like the image. What would they be called? Bloody Blood sucking Blood Bats with Blood cannons and turbo Blood Boosters as upgrades?

Death Bloods

I'd actually like a fleshed out death company, with rules for black raged captains, veterans, scouts, terminators etc.

As well as "Reborn," units that have beaten the black rage.

As for something big? New furioso dreadnoughts with dreadnought jump packs.

Assault drop pods and im finaly starting that army , hope they don't get a uber robot ! I hate all those big robot's :(

There are a lot of things I'd like to see.
Sepharan, Exalted Herald of Sanguinius would be a nice thing.
A Fast, perhaps Jumping, Dreadnought would be interesting; perhaps he could be wielding the Spear of Telesto.

Sanguine Blood Bearers, with Crimson Blood Bolters.






In all seriousness.... They got the elite jump pack guys already, they've got unique Noughts, Tanks and Flyers...

I want more units with angel wings. The sanguinary guards were the reason I started Blood Angels in the first place.

This one is so wild it will make BA playable. Prepare to have you minds BLOWN.

Cheap assault transports.

Now that most marines have Storm Ravens, I expect the Blood Angels will get a unique flyer, probably similar to the Dark Angels one.

We will get a new flyer, a new over the top stupid character with wings, and GW will attempt to destroy whatever dignity we have left as Blood Angel players.



Remember when we were just Codex marines with a Death Company, before all of the silliness? I miss those days......

Although what I would prefer would be for them to make sanguinary guard, death company, and every dread that is not a fragioso more playable. As well as the increadibly needed points deductions!

I demand a chariot for Mephiston and Centurions with wings and blood cannons.

With the new Waaaagh rules for Orks (old style fleet) to support their charge and assault, it is most likely to happen for BA to.
Maybe somesort of Taurox like transport vehicle with assault rules, perhaps DC Terminators, acces to Stormtalon, Centurions don't fit the BA army really, something fast and assaulty will

I would love for the Blood Angels to get some special Psyker lovin with a new deck. I would also like them to get a new type of Terminator. Something like a "Boarding Terminator Squad" to represent the old Space Hulk stuff.

Like 2 wounds, Preferred Enemy (Xenos), Special Storm Bolter, (24", Str 5, Ap4, Assault 2, *special ability*), and the ability to field a group of 1 - 10 of them.

as an old timey 3rd edition BA player *ducks thrown stuff*, i always thought that the death company/honor guard/furioso/baal pred were more than enough to really set the chapter apart... thats a unique HQ, 2 elites, and a heavy... combine that with FA assault marines as troops (Edit: and veterans with jumpacks) , and you have a totally divergent SM army.

but then we got sanguary guard/librarian dreads/bloodravens and that other stuff kinda fell by the wayside... i wouldnt mind a return of the original super units. rather than even more totally unique stuff.

To be honest I can't see them getting any new uber unit, they already have some pretty unique stuff.

What I would like instead of an uber unit:

New Libby Dreadnought kit
+1 WS and BS for Sanguinary Guard and honour guard
Rending on Death Company
Some way to deep strike, survive a turn and get into assault the next turn.
-5pts on all jump pack upgrades

Oh and a new flyer with a blood cannon that shoots bullets with molecules of Sanguineus's blood in them ;-)
