Aside from "Dark Eldar will remain its own faction" I think it's all made up on the 40K Front. Especially the Orks vs Tau Set. No Imperium in a Box Set is highly unlikely.

Mmhmm. Anonymous starting with 'no one will believe me.' Always a good sign.
No real reason to phase Seraphon out. There isn't exactly IP competition there, and they were the first old army to get slotted into AoS.
Skeptical of _Daughters_ getting assorted DE units. Less of tossing out more WFB stuff.
2 upcoming elf projects. Yeah, we know that. That's been on the walls since at least 2.0. Though I'd expect surviving DE units would end up here.
Sure. Why not orcs? There will almost always be Stormcast in the other slot, so that's hardly a prediction at this point.
Not sure what happy implies? That those are done?
Yeah, yeah. Slaves to Darkness will happen eventually. Another given.
Eh? Nurgle fits for the Beastgrave expansion, I guess, but Flesheaters? Well, ok.
Yay, more endlessness. This would only be interesting if they went away afterwards. They're eating time for unit production in the factory.
---
Yep. People definitely care less about 40k.
Merger and no aspects? I can already hear the screaming. Not totally discounting it, but this would be angry-making for lots of people, with ZERO upside.
Sure. DE can stay. Not sure why that would be news.
Ah, the famous SoB starter. We'll see. (This is the... fifth... year running for this particular rumour?
Yay, more knights.... yawn.
EC- two kits seem insufficient, especially compared to TS and DG.
New Harlies. Sure. That would make sense with trashing the eldar line. >.>
Random. Unless they're updating one of those armies around the same time, and even then, I'd still expect one side to be marines.

The whole Seraphon phased out seems off since they just gave them a blood bowl team. That aside though they have got no love for years.

There are about a hundred different red flags here. Existing dark elves units will not got mixed with DAUGHTERS of Khaine. They would dilute the theme of the faction. Also why keep the other units now if only to phase them out in a few months.
Seraphon going away is a 2014 rumour. They will probably reduce the range a bit but giant dinosaurs are an enduringly popular concept.
If this is from an actual meeting, why not name the Aelf factions? We have known for some time that we will get light and shadow Aelves eventually. It would make more thematic sense to include the current dark elf units with the shadow Aelves.
Fec and nurgle are guesses already made by Hastings on war of sigmar whose other guesses have already been proven at least partially incorrect. All 8 warbands from season 3 will already have been sculpted so why not list them all along with their names?
If you are at a gw meeting why write two possible release date for a forthcoming battletome, especially one that is due so soon?

Looks like some inferred guesses with random wishlisting thrown in.
The Sisters based box is happening - the majority of previewed plastics are blatantly easy build/starter versions so the box is coming, it’s just anyone’s guess who they are fighting.
Eldar merging with Ynarri - best guessing based on the latest 40k preview being an Eldar sigil - though presumably the “leaker” hasn’t noticed what the sigilis made up of, plus fluff wise it wouldn’t make much difference as the Eldar united with them would essentially mean same faction different name.
The Dark Elves? DOK already started it with doomfure warlocks, if two new elven factions are coming (which is already a long rumour based on various things) then its likely these older resins will be ditched and the plastics go LCTB/ merge elsewhere to allow existing armies to be used.
Not to mention that anyone in that kind of meeting is unlikely to risk their position by leaking anything. There’s a fair few areas of HQ where just taking a photo would get you a final warning or fired.

top sign this is BS is the Orks vs Tau set. it won't happen because GW knows damn well it'd not sell well. for a boxed set to be popular ideally you want at least ONE soupable faction. I could see maybe Chaos something vs a Xenos race. but Orks vs Tau? not gonna happen

This list looks more like a deliberate attempt to to trigger people than a genuine leak. People want new Aspect Warriors? They go the way of the dodo. People are dissapointed that no new Fyreslayer miniatures were released? GW is ok with the line. Sprinkle some common expectations on top of that and voila, you've got a BS pie with a cherry on top.

I hasten to point out that the "squat clock" video that GW put out when they released the mercenary squat for Necromunda had two other clocks. One was for Plastic Sisters of Battle; the other was for the Plastic Thunderhawk. Though I believe the time on the latter was very far back compared to the other two. Which I take to mean GW knows we want it; GW wants to do it one day but its likely a long long way off because EXPENSIVE

"Primaris Thundereagle" Problem solved
Honestly Primaris are just the new version of marines, which GW is being REALLY odd about releasing because somehow they've made marines into two identically themed armies within each chapter.

I know they're just funny way to make truescale marines, but they seem to have decided old marine gear doesn't fit them, so a thunderhawk would probably also have incompatible toilet sockets in background...

It's worth keeping in mind that that video is from a time when GW was still in on the Sisters joke, before they determined there is actual demand for plastic Sisters and became awfully respectful when talking about plastic Sisters.
As such I read the inclusion of the three clocks as definite signs that GW proper at that time had no intention whatsoever of producing new Squats, plastic Sisters or a plastic Thunderhawk. The Squat clock only broke because of Specialist Games, who do their own thing and shouldn't be used to divine the future of GW's main releases.

Pretty sure a new Thunderhawk would be Primaris compatible, being a new kit that comes stock with heavy stubbers instead of heavy bolters. Compatibility issues are only applicable to existing kits GW can't alter to include heavy stubbers.

Personally I think GW at that time well knew they wanted to do Sisters in Plastic. In fact lets face it they have not retired a single whole 40K army since Squats. Bits of Imperial Guard have come and gone; Kroot have been ignored as part of Tau; but by and large they've not squatted a whole faction since, well, squats. I think it was more a question of when rather than if. The survey just helped reinforce things and I think also encouraged them to consider releasing information about the updated line much earlier than normal to us; rather than keeping it all under wraps for another two years or so.
I think its the same, but not as extreme, as it is for Eldar who are also woefully under-supported in terms of having old sculpts; we can fully hope that they'll update the Craftworld (in fact considering Yinnari draws models from Craftworld and GW has been pushing them its odd that Gw hasn't updated Eldar yet).
Squatting has been more an issue for AoS where we've seen unprecedented loss of models and armies.

Is it possible to go lower than a 0% chance for Orks vs Tau boxset? I feel bad for anyone thinking that's even a remote possibility. Unless it's some random-throw-away-GW-boardgame with existing models, but a starter set? no.

I'd give an Orks vs Tau boxset a sub-1% but over 0% chance--when a plastic Farsight is coming. We got AdMech vs Necrons, Sylvaneth vs Grots, and Flesh-Eater Courts vs Skaven after all.

I don't believe the leak, but i'd agree that an Ork vs Tau campaign box (not a starter) is a possibility,
once of these new things that get made in a limited amount push the story on a little bit and then vanish (almost instantly if the minis are desirable split up)
