Subject: Drunken Master Challenge. Because anyone can speed paint,
I’m interested to see what happens when a happy band of willing idiots get drunk, and then try to paint a model.
Now....this isn’t some wild free for all. I am British you know. We have to have rules and structure.
Rule 1. One model per participant.
Rule 2. You must be consuming alcohol throughout.
Rule 3. The actual percentage doesn’t matter. You do you.
Rule 3.a All the Kool Kids wont be drinking Shandy.
Rule 4. You may prep your chosen model beforehand. Definition for this daft and probably inadvisable endeavour is clipped, tidied up, glued and a single colour base coat. Could be spray can, air brush or pot ‘n’brush,
Rule 5. After Rule 4, all paint types are fair game.
Rule 6. You have but two hours to drink and paint.
Rule 7. The winner will be determined by a popular vote, with no set parameters.
Anyone game?
I’m game.

Haha yes. Maybe I'll go for one of the newish Greater Possessed, seems fitting and doable ^^. So, how would this work - 2h during a specific day, weekend, month etc.? I guess time zones and life in general would make it difficult for everyone to schedule the same 2h time frame

I may have a go this weekend. Idea: a series of submission pics showing the mini in parallel with the beverage(s) to show how both are progressing (regressing?).
Sounds like a Tuesday to me. I'll break out the good whisky for this.

OK, so, here's the finished photos. Still working on the video upload, apparently uploading an hour and a half of video is a "big thing" and trickier than I thought.
Took about an hour and a half, start to finish.
My Submission...
Spoiler:
Lets see if the video link works... Yup, it works. I don't know how to make it preview, or embed or whatever the technical term for it is... but if you want to see the process or listen to me ramble about life, the universe, and anything that crosses my mind... here you go!

Some of us picked up BoP for the Mk 3 armor and terminators. The named HQs are just kicking around the pile of shame. I have plans for the wolf (deathwatch) but not need for the evil wizard. Something like this is not a bad call to actually put them to -some- use.
I might give this a go this evening with an old blood bowl orc. I'm not a fast painter and never tried drinking while painting so not expecting great things..

Time ran out as I was half way through my fourth(!) coat of yellow - probably a bit of a mistake to pick yellow for a timed challenge, particularly as this pot of yellow was over-rescued from almost drying out and far too watery. Only found out half way through painitng so too late to change.
Surprised how well this turned out, was expecting a lot worse, and interesting how the 15mins to go warning was like a slap in the face and somehow felt more sober (and regained some brudh skills) then than for the previous hour or so
Will hopefully get some better final pics and progress shots up tomorrow
