i saw recently in a tv show where they used cornflakes for special details for make up...

Cornflakes, Rice, and Cling wrap/Paper towel are all used from time to time. Facial makeup was not part of the design spec. I believe there is intended to be acquisition of a helmet at some point though.

Great Armor! is this your first LARp armor you've made?

The NOVA base is cool, but I don't understand how an aemy can be displayed..no flat spots?

It sorta is the first larp armor I've made. It's based on hockey pads though so there was VERY little heavy lifting involved. More of a reskin than a total fabrication.

AS for the army display you shall see... (the mountain is hollow.)

That would be sweet. but the display board is for a different customer.

F ally got n a game of bloodbowl, the frosty mugs are only partly painted, but since they are on your bases I thought I'd show them off in your thread if that's alright.

Hopefully that helps show off the beer cave bases, I think al Capone would be inspired.
I'll post finished paint jobs in a decade or so when I get painting again.

Yep. Ive just gotten home. I've added sand to the wasteland bases... I'll get pics up sunday. We have a fair amount of cleaning to do to dig out from our frenzied departure... nothing a that a few hours of labor won't fix though.

ouch... taking care of ones back should be a school course... (mind you... mine is stiff already... but whenever I do something about it I get headaches like skyscrapers...)

also... the lil odd skull here and there looks very nifty...

and do we get to see a pic of the golem in use someday? that would be cool...

and looking forward to your works on the trenches... didn´t knew you planned on casting such stuff... but probably a very wise business idea!

Heh. That would actually possibly make sense... no the trigger this time was slumping on our 20+year old sleeper sofa. (Now I'm really certain it needs to go. It no longer offers any substantial amount of backsupport and is a potential hazard for me unless I'm very careful...)

Yep the costume apparently worked pretty well but will need some tweaks for best fit. I'll try and get some user pics at that time

Well hopefully I'll be able to get back to making stuff by tomorrow.. I can now bend, but I cant lift things that are mare than a pound or so without getting load warnings from my back... It is so aggravating not to be able to do things that are both simple and straightforward on ones own...
