The Ulsterians look good. I like the bluish-silver especially.

Now showing skeletons for Mantic's Dungeon Saga!

Painting total as of 12 July 2025: 88 plus a Deva King statue

Painting total as of 12/31/2024: 107 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain and two walkers and a quad mech and five giants

Thanks, Josh. I copied the look from the first Ultron action figure, made back in '99. It also paints up really quickly and I think it's my most uniform army, which is definitely appropriate, given the base. An army of Silver-Blue automatons is just going to look creepy on the board-especially with the black and red-dot evil smile they have going!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Ulsterians? Do they say "NO!" a lot?

Really love the colour scheme

Thanks. I only got the Asterian starter set through a trade, so all I have is the starter for now. All I have left to finish are Vision, and 6 more grunts. It'll probably be my first fully painted faction (due to ease of scheme and low model count).

very cool Asterians I look forward to seeing more, you going paint asterian commander as Prince Namor or Aquaman? hmm a little modding could make an Asterian silver surfer

Actually, it's Vision as the commander (despite his trident). A couple quick hacks worked fairly well. Hehe

Thanks for all the kind words guys, and I'm seriously impressed we've made this one of the longest (still running) threads on the forum. I thought it would be a quick thread, 10 pages or so, but everyone has really gotten behind it and kept it going strong at the top of the thread. There has been a lot of creativity and tons of awesome suggestions and paint schemes floating around. So thumbs up everyone!!

I finally decided on the colour scheme for my Enforcers.
Loads of pics of my DZ stuff now in a thread on the Mantic forums.
I'll get round to posting them here when I get to my PC (rather than on my phone)

Had to use some Warpath parts to make the Sergeant with Energy gauntlet.

Currently most played: Silent Death, Mars Code Aurora, Battletech, Warcrow and Infinity.

Those are excellent, nice rich red, good off-color, and the white on the faces is just intimidating, may have to steal that

Whoa! A plague swarm, an actual painted plague swarm! The first I've ever seen. I may have to fish mine out of the alcohol bucket and give it another try.

Seeing NTRabbit's Plague force inspired me to take a photo of all mine together.
They are rather rammed together for the photo shot though. :-)

2nd Plague swarm is mid way through being finished on my paint table. They are so OP. :-)

Actually, the metal mawbeast isn't new. It's a sculpt from the Kings of War line.

It's also a great sculpt.

Very nice work on the Plague hordes, guys. I'm still struggling to get mine all assembled, never mind painted, so color me impressed.

Nice! I like how you managed to get them all in focus and everything Hazard stripes on the chainsaw, great minds

I thought it was a new mawbeast, but there you go! Nice sculpt in any case, my problem there is that the blue wash I used makes the azure mane look too much like the cygnar highlight body. Might have to drybrush some light blue back into it.

@Thraxas - That is one awesome set of paint jobs. /jealous

I still have a lonely Plague Swarm and few Enforcers to finish off, then full collections of Rebels and Marauders to do myself.
I'm not sure which to start on.

Here's my Enforcers so far (minus 4 unpainted figures)

A peacekeeper captain, sergeant, 3 troops, 2 assault troops and a sniper

Currently most played: Silent Death, Mars Code Aurora, Battletech, Warcrow and Infinity.

Yeah I'm finishing the last of my first Marauder team this month, then next month I'll be moving on to the Rebs. Got a theme figured out for them too! If I finish them fast, then I'll move on to the Asterians and get them mostly done before the rest of my FF and Enforcers arrive. Then mercs. Then terrain, gah! Plenty to do!

So much nice stuff guys I may have said it somewhere else but I really like those red enforcers, and it translated well to the strider too!

I was expecting to see a yellow colour scheme with red hands!

I suppose I better show some pictures!
