*As Rachel watches the Tv box, then watches Thaddeus drift to sleep.*
*Looks at his abs for a long moment, and wonders why she is drawn to them.*
Rachel thinks: (Magic... Wait! He could be cold! I have to get him a blanket!)
*Runs to her room, and grabs the blanket from her bed. Drapes it over Thaddeus, and smiles happily with herself.*
*Notices Huitz, and waves.*

*The warrior stirs slightly but easily wakes up with the movement. He notices the blanket and smiles to himself*
Thaddeus: Precious...
*He continues watching the movie and constantly glancing at Rachel *

*Huitz looks over the edge of his book and humphs gruffly, waves once and goes back to his book*


*Dria shakes her head*
Dria: Maybe if we become close in age, but I don't see that happening anytime soon
*She smiles and accepts a coffee*
Dria: I'm doing well enough.. Just trying to help Mum.. she's just been really upset lately, and trying to hide it, even from Dad.

*Rachel turns to Thaddeus looking somewhat ashamed.*

*Giggles at being called Precious, then turns back to watching the movie.*

*Thaddeus moves Rachel over to him gently with one move. Rachel finds herself in Thaddeus's arms and covered with the blanket*

*Accidentally places a hand on Thaddeus's chest, and reddens. Quickly removes hand, and looks at his face with embarrassment.*
Rachel: I-I'm warm now... T-thank you..
Rachel thinks: (His magic is making me feel werid again... what is it about him?)

*Thaddeus steadier Rachel*
Thaddeus: I didn't mean to alarm you.
*He says calmly and smiles. He moves a bit of Rachel's hair behind her ears .*
Thaddeus: We can watch comfortably now, Sash-
*Thaddeus stops himself. He looks sad for a split second and composes himself just as quick*
Thaddeus: Rachel.

*Rachel smiles, and nods.*
Rachel: It's okay.. I'm alright.
*Doesn't flinch from his touch, and looks momentarily confused by his sad look.*
Rachel: W-we are comfortable... are you okay?
*Tilts her head, and studies his features. Shows a look of concern.*

*Thaddeus silently pulls Rachel close and holds her to his chest in an embrace*
Thaddeus: One day I won't be here to protect you and make you sandwiches or keep you safe.. so I'll teach you all that I know. So that you'll never be afraid and vulnerable when I'm gone.

*Huitz had lowered the book again*
Huitz: Rachel hmm? I am Huitzilo-
*He pauses and thinks for a moment*
Huitz: Just call me Mars
*He nods to the Yarl*
Huitz: I'll take some.


*Dria shrugs*
Dria: He's been busy. Mum and Dad are making him work at Orkmart for a while. Punishment for the way he treated Blue. Aparently the last time she was captured he beat her half to death...
*She looks sad*

*Looks up at Kara, and goes to say something, then charges up at Dria getting too close for comfort*

*Thaddeus grins and picks Rachel up easily and then setting her on the couch*
