I do not even care about AoS fluff but the idea of gobbos flying some airjunk has a really strong appeal to me. Just imagine how crazy all their models could be, and all the variety of funny (from the perspective of their mates) deaths waiting for the crew/pilots

You all know it's going to be some randumb warband for Underworlds or Warcry

I'm actually okay with random Underworlds/Warcry warbands, as they're a potential source of interesting models outside the established armies at a semi reasonable price.

It also means there's a good chance that if the warband only has one or two models I like, someone will likely be selling the individual models on eBay. Win/Win for me.

Speaking of warcry, the obelisk bearer solves the obelisk rumor engine. It was Tzeentch related after all

Fairly confident this an Ambull

It doesn't quite match the Ambull we got for WHQ a while back, the texture is similar but it's in the wrong part of the creature. I wonder if this is some kind of World Eater thing?

That spoiled picture gives me a sad; I liked the version teased in the 3rd edition rulebook.

I think the Libre Xenologis book had a story about a Hrud interaction with an Imperial sailor in the bowels of a ship. So maybe a tie in with Gallowdark? NPC for the upcoming "close quarters" 40K expansion?

It doesn't look like something from the usual armies. I can only think it's either something daemonic or some random xenos.

Looks pretty Tyranid-y to me. Those little indentations along the main claws, and the style of the 'thumbs'.

Would love it if it was the liber xenologis Hrud, would finally get the space-skaven fanboys to back down.

That would be very nice indeed. An opportunity to make “corrupted” terrain to represent Hrud architecture as it overlays and replaces the Imperial stuff.

It looks like ripped cloth or some kind of dribble substance running down the arm, I can't quite tell which.

It doesn't look that niddly widdly to me. But then we must be due a Tyranid KT at some point. It might be terrain for that?

Hrud would be sweet though.

Eh, I can't see it. At all. Tyranids tend to either have human style hand with 5 fingers, or, on more monstrous variant, 3 fingers with last bone being fused into talons. Certainly not 5 fingers with two opposing thumbs and two serrated talons that look nothing like usual Tyranid scythes. And the wrist is so far removed from anything Tyranids do it's not even funny:

Agree on the non-tyranid thing. No idea what that claw is, but it has none of the markers of a nid bit.

Unit wise, it could part of a Dark Eldar Beastmaster and menagerie

It's probably one of the two Daemon Marines coming from the World Eater codex.
