The females are looking pretty cool so far but more paint is needed.
what you don´t say... i made the pics so that you could tell me where and what should be painted ...
and it is huge... it created a lovibly smile on my wifes face even... and in my backbrain i now need more pink foam and a new board so that i can create a true gaming table...like bloodbowl only deadlier^^

I think the varied look could work, purple/green, purple/red, purple/orange ? Or maybe two groups of three girls, rather than three pairs?
The purple spandex pulls them together as opponents of the blue droids, having two different armour colours makes the viewer wonder about how closely they're affiliated with each other, adds a bit of mystique
Depends on which Pheonix your on about Vik... but go with the Yellow and green... as Aquaman is just pain gay as gay can be... look at the all the jokes he receives in TBBT

I have those females as well Vik, painted their hair in certain colors, and named them "Tenchi's Angels" I wonder who will get the theme???

Red-Washuu
purple-Ayeka
blue-white for Ryoko(That one is the 2 weapon gal with the ungodly strength)

Vik, you're a bit of a terrain wizard, you know that? The arena looks ace - can't wait to see how you paint up the combatants! I'm a big fan of weathered orange or blue armour for an arena team, something like this:

The pic is from a free to play MMOFPS called Monday Night Combat. You can get it for free through Steam. Its fun, and a nice distraction from all the fall-out, skyrim and borderlands madness...
