If Lazarus were to broadcast an offer of a battlefield parley, would be have any takers? Now that the Grey Knights are re-deploying away from the city, and they are statistically the most likely to impale-on-sight. Could be a fun, different scene to write.

And he does need to stall for a bit to keep working his plans. Thoughts?

Hmm I have plans with the tillers aswell fret not. Also how do chaos portals work ? Can my sorcerer just conjure one up or does it require a ritual at both points or something? Your wyrms may find my dudes to be rotten

I don't know if a chaos portal ever really "works", but if there's a plot effect you have in mind, run it by the GMs. Fluffwise they've done everything from being daemon lighthouses to corruption centers to travel methods. But after the Webway Incident, don't plan on using them for travel.

Kharne, when you say 'Tau Goodies', is that just the auxiliaries if your necrons, or are you bringing in the Empire?

Necrons are already inside, none approaching from outside.

It's mainly for travel between bases and out posts

It can't be used like a webway portal

That was Numek commenting on the troops Grulahk had already sent.

And considering the speed of Necron vehicles it would take but an hour to reach Cogger.

And also considering that Necrons are incredibly stealthy at night (minus the noise) it's safe to say the Necrons were arriving during or before EoNs last post

I raise the eyebrow at the incredibly stealthy with the glowing bits. but I would say let Blackjack decide if they snuck past a blockade.

Maybe not incredibly stealthy, but stealthy enough to get into Cogger. I don't think the entirety of Hive Cogger is surrounded by the Imperium

More like flew past. Not much you can do to stop that, and Necron vehicles have been known to sneak by scanners before.
