6 dollars for something some guy printed off of the internet. Yeah, sounds like a pretty good deal there.

So, playing £2.95 over the cost for 10 all because he's "pro painted"
But it's "refurbished", totally worth it

For once, they actually are pro-painted. But £85/$140 for 10 Firewarriors is extracting the urine slightly.
Yeah, that paintjob, while nice, isn't something that is worth four times as much as the base price. It's nothing the average person can't achieve with some drybrushing and line hightlighting.
BUT AT LEAST ITS DONE BY A PRO!

Wait, why did that stormtrooper codex sell for $150?
Also, the description for the zombie hand says that he is trying to each your brains just like he did someone else. If the second part is true, does that mean the zombie buried himself like some sort of zombie ninja so he could slowly crawl back out and slowly each someone else's brains?
This thread is blowing my mind.

It had FREE SHIPPING! And it was going out of print! Sure, pretty much every other listing of the same book was 1/5 or so of the price but...
Maybe he was trying to sell to Australian players for a discount?

Here in new zealand, i put up an auction on trade me (our ebay) and people paid 20 dollars more than its worth (despite me putting a link so they could see where I got them) on all 3 units. 3rd party models sell like gold here, I was tempted to start selling them for profit as it happens every time. But Id feel a bit bad doing that.
I once saw a squad of cadians with pith helmet heads go for well over 60 dollars painted (here they cost 58 new) just because it was 3rd party.
Unfortunately people are oblivious to other awesome models out there.

Thank you. They were made when we had a store campaign... not in a GW store mind you. They told me to handle it for the store, and I was given sprues to do this kind of thing. They let me keep them at the end of the summer.

Uhm, yeah so what? If the buyer doesn't do his homework, he's the dumbass, you can find out very easily on the web that they are from Raging heroes.

Never said they weren't, if anything my guess is on its just for the search box hits. Same as everything now is "pro painted", " NIB" and "Limited Edition". Throw enough words on and ensure it comes up in more peoples searches.

"pro painted", "NIB" and "Limited Edition".
All of those are open to some interpretation, but:
Brand: Citadel miniatures
is false regardless of how you take it..And you can't hold the buyer responsible if he has been flat out lied to.

If a buyer found out after buying it, spending an arm and a leg for false advertising, send it back. And dock the guy on eBay for selling under false pretenses. eBay can pull up proof that OOP GW models sell for decent dough, they're collectible. This is a lying seller taking advantage of that line of thought and lying to his customers. "Not as advertised" is a legit complaint, right?
