While I hate to say it some customers are having issues including the ones in this thread I've tried to help

(sadly unsuccessfully as I managed to make initial contact and then sent their info on nothing has happened, and I've been unable to get any further reply)

I'm sure it's not deliberate, but some orders are falling into a big black hole

It won't stop me ordering (or recommending their stuff which is generally excellent) but it would make me keep an eye on the time left to make a claim via paypal or credit card just in case

Probably the best choice given the conflicting experiences reported in the thread. You never know if your order will make its armor save the next time.

Have you always been "ValentineGames" here of Dakka Dakka or were you once...someone else?

Anyway, I've ordered from Hasslefree and have always received my minis, sometimes not as quickly as the time before.

Some people are apparently still having issues receiving product they've ordered.

Hasslefree is a 'small business' and as such, things sometimes don't run as smoothly as everyone would like.

Overall, I'd still order from them.

As for the sale, decided to order some minis, including Rae, which will hopefully not be another-another miscast, third time's the charm right?

For those who make use of the sale, keep in mind that it may take some time for your order to get to you, this is usually the case when they're having a sale and have said as much in the newsletter.

As long as the model is not missing an arm or facial details like the last two times, I don't care what's under the skin.

I got my order last week, just shy of sixteen months after order date (and a lot of mostly one-way communication).

Unsurprisingly I'm not in a hurry to place another one, but at least I finally got it and have one less thing to worry about.

That's a hell of a wait. I got an email with a tracking number a few weeks back for my Halloween order. I was pretty swamped for a few weeks but I finally tried to check the tracking number. The post's website didn't find anything. I sent Hasslefree another email.

I have always loved Hasslefree, but right now they are not living up to their name.

I've been ordering from them for many years without any issue. I am not disputing that others have had long waits or even not received their orders, but I suspect they're a vocal minority. Understandably vocal -- if I'd not received something I'd probably be having a moan about it at least once a week till it showed. But it's rarer that satisfied customers post, I reckon.

Made a small order (5 minis) in the sale, anyway. My biggest issue with HF has always been the relatively slow speed they get new metals released: I own almost everything they've made that I have some vague use for, by now.

I've ordered from them several times in the past and was very happy, this is the first time I'm having trouble. They seem to be in a rough patch right now is all. I'm not calling on the villagers to storm the castle with pitchforks or anything. I really do hope they sort their issues out; like I said I am fond of them.

This thread reminded me that it's been six months, and I still haven't had a reply regarding my missing miniature. I sent one last try, and if I don't hear anything back, I'm writing Hasslefree off as a company too risky to send money to.

The irony of their name is fairly heavy. Perhaps they should change it to Hasslefull?

Thought I'd take advantage of the 20% off and bought Not-Ash and Not-Blaine.

Order placed last Sunday and just received this morning, so I'm pretty happy with that considering the problems that others have encountered.

Couple of sweeties included too - will find homes for them with the family as I don't really do sweets. Even more so now since going low carb.

Oh wow, that is a good sign at least. Now if they would finally release some of their sci-fi resin masters in metal I might be willing to take the gamble and place an order.

I didn't get mine though. I mean the hassle, I got the order just fine .

Not long ago everyone was gaking on hasslefree miniatures as they struggled with a kickstarter and severe health conditions and problems with Facebook business and it seemed new problems each week.
Everyone kicked them when they were down and enjoyed doing it too.
It was a true showing that the community has some real scumbags.

But I remained patient as everyone demanded blood.
And now I made an order last week and BOOM here it is 26 figures.

Thanks awesome hasslefree!!!

Feigning moral superiority while simultaneously calling fellow posters scumbags who simply wanted a timely delivery of products they paid for really doesn't reflect well on you. I'm glad you got your products so quickly though and hopefully the dastardly folks who posted they were waiting for months have gotten theirs too.

Good job I said "the community has some" not all then isn't it.
But of course people interpret SOME however they decide.
It is pretty scummy to demand people work the day after collapsing at a show.
Or (but not as scummy) demanding they answer Facebook messages when Facebook wasn't allowing them.

Mind you. It was allot worse over on Lead Adventure Forum.

7.8

Deft backpedalling marred by a slightly clumsy gaslight finish.

I didn't know what had happened. When I saw your post about 'scumbags' I was filled with my own sense of outrage and looked back in the last few pages here. Some ( ) opinions about Hasslefree range from 'ungracious and uncaring' to outright abusive (The latter being those couple of horror stories from facebook rather than here) but there's still a seed of understandable frustration buried under there, and perhaps a lack of the full picture.
But guy, you're taking it way too personally in return. Especially now. What's your angle in being so antagonistic now, months later, when things have died down and Hasslefree are getting on their feet again? What's the point of waving a box of minis under people's noses and crowing like that? Can't you be happy with your new lead, let other people be happy for you, and let them see quick service from HF rather than beat them over the head with it?

Deep breaths VG. In through the nose, out through the mouth.

What did you buy? Is it nice? What are you going to use it for?

Gee... I wonder how I could have interpreted your post ON DAKKA to be referring to this forum that you hold in such obvious high regard...

I'll give you props though for being as consistent in your attitude towards for the forum your feelings towards the customers that you as a business are supposed to be serving. Of course, I may just be "misinterpreting" your username's meaning and your post too yet again...

 ValentineGames wrote:
Hasslefree is the perfect example of customers being impatient witches who don't give a gak about anyone else except themselves while individually expecting struggling companies going through difficult times to bend to demands. Not polite questions. DEMANDS.

God I hate people so much these days.
Entitled little gaks.

So... to recap... customers who post experiences contrary to your opinion are are entitled, impatient, biased, scumbag little gaks because they want what they paid for in a timely fashion. And they're the toxic ones, right?

Kindly stay on topic and keep things polite, that goes for everybody.

I am also looking for someone to run a new Hasslefree N&R thread so we can retire this one, someone who is willing to keep the OP up to date with the latest news and releases. Thanks!
