Lots of updates:

Soon as I get these bad boys painted they'll be up for sale at Troll Forged. I posted sketches of these way back, they've been kicking about for a good number of years, waay before Vostroyans. When GW released them I was a bit miffed, this is how I wanted my greatcoats. Folks might hate them but I designed them for myself, russian type gear and uniform but the hats were inspired by Buckingham palace guards, very traditional british bear hats. The coats are red by the way (see the zombie versions) the hats will be black. Quick snap in there beside a GW plastic for scale (remember they're standing on plasticard on the base so deduct 1mm from the overall height). Still a bit of clean up to be done on these before I undercoat.

Been doing some casting of my own, here's a dolly for the Trench Guard so I maintain the same armour throughout, and the rifle and helmet. Few minor alterations will be made here and there for variets. I'll be bending the armatures into poses them simply sculpting the cloth. Should be good fun ! hardly even cleaned these up yet, hence the mold lines and flash:

Cant remember if I've shown this yet, upcoming secret fantasy project. First (almost) complete orc, or as I call them, Swine Warriors (coincidence about the swine flu by they way, coined the name years ago)

I almost feel horrible for just wanting them for their heads. :( Can't wait to see more of your fantasy stuff, you can already see the big improvement in your skills when looking at those!

Not posted much in a while, painting first - conversions of the greatcoat zombies.

New greens to follow soon, a lot of sculpting going on (that will never see the light of day, just practice) my stuff seems to be reaching a reasonable level now. The new greatcoats are in the works and look a lot better than the previous ones, they're also multipart like the Trenchers.

Great work. You really have a talent for sculpting.

However, I wouldn't like to see that mutant guiding primary school kids across the road to school as a Lollipop Lady.

Mutant or Lollipop Lady???? Which is more scary??

Yeah all this is/will be available at Troll Forged. The heads will be on sprues of 5 I reckon (5 of the same helmet, slightly different faces).

The bike is on hold at the moment, it'll come back soon... probably start again with a slight redesign.

Miss Dee, haven't forgotten saw your PM. They're made, I just need to make little press molds for them... and actually find the sculpts again, they were thrown in the bitz box in a rush, oops.
