Here's what I am working on between my thesis...

Still really rough, but I have the body of the defiler mostly done except for cleaning highlights. I need to work on the grinders weapon and pick out details on the whole thing.

It's supposed to be Malal themed... I dunno, is that stupid?

I know a lot of people are like: "What is on gray's desk right now and what does his painting area look like?"


I am going to have to start painting some Flesh Eaters soon so this blog might take a back seat.

Okay, Fiends (previously seekers) are done. I wish I were happier with them, there is a lot of sloppy mistakes. On the other hand I am done with ~1800 points of demons, which is nice to say.

Really like the paint job on the fiends/seekers, definately somewhere between sandworms from dune and my worst nightmares! I really like the Malal themed soul grinder, cant wait to see it finished. Keep it up man!

These may be the photos, but the metal on the grinder looks shiny-licous, maybe you should add some rusting or just a simple wash over it.

The photos are sort of off-I may have overdone it with the clamp lamp. I'll try to get some shots in natural light or without the light box. Like I said though-I still have to touch him up.

I've been busy assembling and priming my Flesh Eaters. I have ~50 assault marines put together and I need to magnetize the jump packs/backpacks. Also four Baal Preds, because, why the hell not.

I should start a new thread for them; maybe once I have some more painted up.
