I have been a fur for 18+ years
I do not have any kind of sexual relations with animals
I do not know anyone who that has
The CSI episode had SOOOOOO!!!! Much wrong with it.
I have never seen a “Fur Pile”
I have never had sex in a Fursuit
Furries have the reputation of being perverted old men who are into animals
And Gamers are and 40 year old virgins who live in their basements with there mothers playing Star Wars/Star Trek on their computers
and people who work at renaissance fairs are satin worshiping who are drugged out hippie witches.
Yes there are those who fill these stereotypes, but that is not the core of any of these three groups
I have been to a few 40k tournaments that have almost come to blows
I had one person that refused to play my Space Wolves because they were painted “Primer Grey” not Space Wolf Grey”
I have never seen two furs come to blows over the proper coloring of a tiger, the usal response is “Cool were did you get that color of fur”
Anyone that condemns a group before they talk to them and find out what there are about sounds like a fool from those who are in the know.
As for Batman is a Furry
Heck Yes!
If a girl in Cat Ears and a Tail is Furry, a guy in a bat suit is defanatly one.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

That one should not judge a group just because they different.
Furries are one of the few groups that you can say this about.
There are lots of cliques, but no Politics.
If want to be a Fursuiter, Artist, Writer and/or just a Fan the other cliques could care less if you belong to the other or you are a veteran or a newb.
I would like to see another group do that, and I have not seen that often.

-Go to local Furmeets [Parties]
-Chat on the Internet
-Play Furry RPGs like Furry Outlaws [think Disney’s Robin Hood]
Go to Conventions and at the cons we have
-Dances
-Ice-cream Socials
-Talk about our favorite Furry Comics/Shows/Movies
-Go to SIGs [Special Interest Groups] about costume design, art, writing and music and how to do performances
-Go to the Talent shows
-Just hang out filling up on our favorite food groups [Coffee, Pizza, and Caffeine] -and of course looking for Furry Porn
