I am a big fan of surrealistic art, and "Disney Alternative" is most definitely some of the most inspiring stuff I have ever seen. How does the IP on that work though? At what point does disney have "say" over what you can and can't do?

Whenever I get a chance, I hope to get a small team together to work on a hand-drawn (computer really, but who is counting?) cartoon along the lines of Titan-AE. Making a Disney-dementia WH40k (counts as Chaos Demons... DUH!) army has been a pretty enticing idea for a while now. Just look at snow white though, that would be one crazy set of models, I have to say.

I have always been a bit unsettled by the Alice adaptations, mind you, that is part of the whole intent of the concept; yeah... still unsettling though . There is some stuff that is over the top, to be sure, but overall, most "Disney Alternative" is really, and I mean reall freaking really really, super cool.

That Alice piece looks like it may be done by Michael Turner(or someone who's very good at replicating his style).

Speaking of Alice, SyFy's doing an Alice 2 part miniseries ala Tinman this December.
