Nice concepts for Wraithlords, i like them a lot! Avatar looks great, especially the golden tip on the sword, and the wraithbone runes all over the model.

Wow, those wraitlords are pretty cool. I love the autarch and the warpspider conversion the most probably though.

Okay, here goes. I'm going to excuse the shoddy paintwork by saying that I only got into wargaming and 40K about six months ago. It's a steep learning curve!

Many of my minis are unfinished due to my terrible attention span. I flit between one item to the next doing little bits here and there, so every unit in my army gradually draws near completion at the same time, rather than me having a bunch of finished stuff then a couple of unpainted.

Enough with the gibberish, on with the trumpets!

The first model I ever did. I hadn't discovered sawing and pinning, yet attempted an action pose anyway. Then he leaned further forward while drying and got stuck like that

I just nipped outside to shoot these, so alas the evening light meant I was shooting at a fairly high ISO, thus the pictures are grainy. I'll do proper shots once they're all finished

Are the hand not painted on the avatar or are they staying white? For some reason they just don't look done to me. The model is very nice otherwise though.

He did say they weren't finished. Still, these models are painted very well.

Yeah, his hands remain unfinished. They'll be black to match his gauntlets, then I'm going to mix some blood red in with good old uhu glue to have it dripping off his fingers. Which may or may not work... Only one way to find out!

@Troo: Your avatar is great! Som really nice blending. The full silver sword doesn't look right to me, maybe paint the hilt gold and the handle black.

I am envious of your high quality Wraithlord. I would like to at some point in the near future custom make a wraithlord in a cool pose and such.

good on modeling that WL and that nid beneath it. The phoenixes on the models look excellent.
