Although that actually is more encouraging for me to see. He's done such a superb job reimagining the Eldar aesthetic with that titan that to me it no longer really looks "Eldar-y". It's lithe, it's shape is obviously a revenant, but it seems more like an H.R. Geiger painting made out of Forgeworld product. Since that's not the way I imagine Eldar "should" be I can still imagine ways to make a revenant that fit with my image of Eldar better than that, even if the paint job will never be as good. Does that make sense?

Why would you want to? If the gaunts are within assault range of the Reapers, they're well within range of the hot death cannon that is a tooled up Exarch and the rest of his squad...

Oh, hell.

(Though, really, if the gaunts ARE within reach of your back-line shooty squad, you've already lost the game.)

I've started a blog (see link in my sig) for my Eldar army which is a week or so old now. I must say i'm enjoying painting them so far and i'm only on the basic troops choices at the moment. The last time i had an Eldar army was during the 3rd edition so it's a bit of a renaissance for me returning to them now

I doubt I'll go the freehand route but the work on here is impressive. Nice Alaitoc grav-tank too. Not sure whether to go the dappled route for mine....... TBC

The singer is really good, I like how the gems are painted. You're lucky to have that model since you can't get them anymore.

Here are pretty much all my decently painted Eldar (I have a bunch more which are painted, but most of them are either sloppy or drowned in blue ink. or both.)
Some of them are better than others, as I painted them over a span of time. The rangers are my earliest, and the Harlequins are my latest.

I'll start with pics of my wraithlord:

Here is my falcon, I might do some free hand on it. My DA, Jetbikes, Gaurdians, Warwalker and WIP rangers.

There are some really cool entries.

I love the paint job on that titan but I'm not so hot on the face.

The one reason I don't play eldar is I'm intimidated at the thought of painting them. I don't think I could do justice to those great models. One day though. Until then I'll stick to power armor and whatnot.

I like the orange, beings that all of my is that color, but i'm not sure if I like the glass on the cockpits that color, clear would have been a nice contrast.
