I just wanted to try something different with the glass, but it is a little to late now to change. I thought you would like orange since your orks are orange.

Sadly I no longer have my Eldar (all sold for a fat profit on e-bay to fund other projects), but I do have my photo's...though I didn't have a digital camera back then. Anyway, here are some pics of my work over the years. Maybe they will give some of you inspiration.

Phantom Seer (as featured in the Citadel Journal issue 36 March 2000).

Night Spinner

Wave Serpent turret and hull extension detail

Farseer Falcon

MTV (Multi Turret Vehicle) - GW hated this idea when I floated it to the Journal because it basically allows you to use the same hull and different turrets to give you a range of vehicles for your army. It used to be a great money saver. The photo on the left shows another of my wave serpent scratch built turrets (made from a plastic medicine spoon) and of course the original Fire Prism. This is another reason you can no longer order turret sprues seperately. to you GW.

Scout Walker (as featured in the Citadel Journal issue 36 March 2000).

Yrrthilien Mournsong (as featured in the Citadel Journal issue 36 March 2000).

Various Eldar Wytches

and last but not least (and technically no longer an Eldar)...

Yeah, those are cool too I guess (obvious sarcasm.

I really like the overexagerated hiighlight on the helmets though, it works well with the model.

I do like the painting challange of Eldar, and many things here are really good, but I do agree eldar has no backbone, they're just annoying, they don't have good amour but they stop you from hitting them in the first place, a 20man bezerker sq stops that,

why I don't really like to fight eldar, they're really easy to blow off in combat (and don't say wraithlords, 4str10 pf attacks usually toast it)

Just got back to wh40k =D

Here are my Fire Dragons. These are still a WIP, and since I took this photo a couple of weeks ago, I have drybrushed/highlighted Golden Yellow on them, and am beginning to base the models in sand. Turned the melta bombs into google chrome logos for lols (see the guy in the back row to the left of the Exarch). hope these are good enough compared to other brilliant models in this thread. Will send more updates soon.

Loving your work kraken.

That is some of the finest Eldar work, in fact painting work I have seen.

Fantastic.

@Squirrel: for a WIP they look fine to me!

The google chrome reference is probably one that will escape most, but very cool. Look forward to seeing the completed models.

@Kraken: Beautiful stuff man, the extreme highlighting looks great on them!
Alrighty, I painted these for fun and because I was able to pick them up cheap at my clgs, I kinda burnt out on them at the end.
Plus, if anyone's interested, they're on Ebay right now too
The Highlighting is really subtle on their blue, too.

Again, if anyone's interested....http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290444076065&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
