I just got an email from Matt that said that my envelope should have gone out monday, but that he did not have tracking for it at the moment. If the friend that is helping him with all of this is reading this thread, drop me a pm and let me know the tracking info please. Matt can attest that I have been very civil, and that I won't cause you any grief.

I'm getting a little worried at this point because some stuff my wife ordered on Monday night, from a company in Dallas, just arrived via Parcel Post. I think it's an aberration, nothing should move that fast, but it did increase my anxiety level.

I don't think Matt's friend/consultant is online here at Dakka.

We basically going to have to wait for the packages to arrive and/or Matt to return to TX to get the numbers for us, it looks like.

i received an email from RSO. he's unsure why the packages haven't arrived. he's not sure when he'll be home.
if you email him he can get it, but he's having trouble getting on Dakka through his phone. and there's no way we
will be hearing from the Consultant reguarding shipping or anything.

Are there further legal actions the guys can do to protect themselves atm?

I've researched the legal-angle fairly heavily at this point, and consulted with the two trial-lawyers in my family.

I can only speak for myself; if the items do not arrive, and I reach the point where I feel that I will not be seeing them, then I will file with IC3 and the Dallas Police Dept. I already filed mail fraud charges, some time ago.

Both of those actions would initiate criminal investigations by the relevant agencies. I have also explored filing in Texas Small Claims Court, and though it would be unlikely that we would recover our items or their values in the eventualities of such actions, it could have some serious affects on Matt.

Another day, another disappointment. BUT... The USPS does claim it takes 5 to 12 days and it's only been 9. Or is it 5 to ∞ days?

I have been reading this post, and as an avid ebay buyer/seller I would not have put up with this....

I would have asked for proof of hardship of some form that is belaying him from meeting his side of the deal. He keeps making promises and fails to deliver. My suggestion to you guys is to stop dealing with him altogether and go ahead and seek an alternative to getting the deals closed. You guys just keep buying into his claims. If he is having trouble getting the stuff out due to medical issues within the family then of course the judge would see that, and would compensate should you the filer make it aware to the judge that you have been more than sympathetic and understanding with him. Just my 2 cents.

Hmmm if its really going to result in this does any anybody have any advice on what I can do living in New Zealand? I'm a little on the young side and wouldn't know where to start. I commisioned a titan and all the parts for a second titan last december.

I am sympathetic to his situation with his wife and all. My own father has cancer and its not fun. That aside Matt may not be a theif as he claims but he certainly seems to have told a fair few lies with emails to me that it would be shipped on this date etc. And countless other examples on this thread. I would prefer he was straight up from the word go and he just plainy said I'm really sorry I dont have the cash to send it etc rather than this its coming this week, or this week, or no its this week sorry rubbish. False hope sucks.

i don't share your optimism Alpharius. i think this is another little BS joyride.
and the reason i say this is because it's his M.O. for whatever reason. alot of us
have been on this rollercoaster for far too long not to know better.
i agree with Burbsee. i'd rather him be honest and ship late,
than him promise something, waiting and hanging on to hollow promises.
oh, and if you haven't guessed it by now, no package today! i know, shock.
and today is day 11, if they were shipped on 5-22 as claimed.
