Thats awsome. I know its not that much in the states but for some godforsaken reason its like $40 to order it from GW Canada.

Either way you look at it I did promise you the pads, but if you ar elucky they should be there within the next week or so, depending upon the weather and the like, and I know all about that lake effect snow you get since I was raised around that daggone lake.

By the way make sure to PM me when you get said parts, otherwise I will have fun over my night shift talking with GW customer service.

Thanks to Btemple, I have a full DW conversion kit. So loads more bolters, shoulderpads and heads.

He is all sorts of awsome.

I'll trim and prime up the shoulderpads and bolters hopefully tonight.

Work actually getting done today.

I have 1 tactical Marine at about 85%, another at about 25 %.. Should be able to get both to the 95% done mark before I go home from work. These guys will have either bionic assisted or DW pattern bolters. If I get lucky, and things stay quiet I might be able to get a 3rd Marine in.

Having way to much fun with my Maxmini resins and some of the metal IH parts from the GW kit.

Quiet sunday 12 hour shifts are cool for getting work done on models. Goal for today is to get up to at least combat squad strength on the tacticals, if not a bit futher.

I can tell that it is a Deathwatch bolter, as it is just a wee small looking in the front hand of the marine, but as to if it came from the kit I sent I have no clue.

Oh yes, I got some great news, I got an email from GW about the new gk release, then again anything shiny that GW comes out with that I get an email about I am already waiting impatiently for, so maybe we will see some new GKs on your blog.

Count on it. :-) I'll have at least a box of Termies the day they release here in Canada, if not a full army worth. Starting to save up now.

I have enough stuff to work on untill then, with my recent trades, bits from ^Freindly Dakkaites^... And one more big trade waiting for mid month to possibly move ahead.

I got 6 guys done over the weekend. 2 that I have pics of already, and 4 more. Hope to take some pics when I get home form work tonight.

So I had some issues getting the camera charged, but finally did.

These guys are at about 85-90% done. Basically need a badab black wash and some touch up work. I'm quiet happy with the way the bionics turned out on most of them.

They are a mix of Maxmini, and GW bionics from the IH set.

And now, with thanks to Nick from Chapterhouse, I bring you a Ordo Xenos Pattern Combi-Melta.

Woof! That's a BFG...

Its tiny compared to the commanders Combi-melta.

Thats a DeathWatch metal bolter, which are a bit on the small side compared to the plastic bolters.

The Combi-bit from CHS fits perfectly on the top of the bolter. Jsut had to chop of fthe front 2/3 of the targeter, and file the top of the bolter flat. Took about 2-3 minutes, with most of that being filing. If I had a dremel tool, prob would have taken about 30 seconds.

Indeed. And the shoulderpads will start to make an appearance soon as well. Most Vets and SGTs will have a DW pad.

Need to get more primer though.... Ran out. :-(

At least you can have primer, I have to prime the "field expediant way" using an airbrush, which broke, and now I cannot paint that nice baal predator kit that came to me in the mail.

Tank brush and thinned down white or black paint. is the ultimate field expeidient. I do that on small resin bitz.

Your MOTF should love the one of those axes IMHO.

The big axes are going towards my Honor gaurd squad as Releic blades. MOTF will prob have a Thunder Hammer. I'm leaning towards getting IA 10 and hoping that my Opponents will let me use the rules for the The SoM Chapter Master.

Well, IA isnt exactly a 'Codex'... But as a IH sucessor, its about as close as I'm going to get for any current IH rules.

Which sucks as I have 2 TH from the IH kit that at the moment, I cant use. May use one on my MOTF conversion.... we shall see.

Going to try and start on my Chaplain tonight. Need to come up with something for his Crozius though.

I was thinking about somthing along that line... I have a Cool servo skull bit that would go good in the middle, but I need to find a Gear in the right size.

Starting with Assault Marine legs, I have a Chapterhouse skull Helmnet, and a IH Bionic body... He'll have prob a bionic leg from the knee down, and a Bionic hand.
