Hayao Miyazaki films are the only anime I can really enjoy. One of the first animes I saw was Princess Mononoke, it is hard to go from that to Bleach and the ilk.

Not so fun fact: Shin chan's creator commited suicide a few years back or maybe even less than a year ago. I can't recall correctly.

I know, I've seen it, in fact I have all of Zim on DVD...
That episode wasn't necessarily funny...creepy as all feth...but not funny...
I'm not saying Invader Zim isn't funny, but I'm generalizing for a wider audience, Zim is funny to a certain specific type of abnormal audience...

Yes, yes it is. If you could by it on dvd I would have, just to take it around and watch it, but i have to make do with the whole lot on my pendrive.
Since I got broudband back, I downloaded Evangeilon 2.22.
I was very good but I had to stop heaps when my little sisters kept coming in to talk to me. Cute but annoying.

That's really a question like "what TV shows should I watch?" Really, what are you interested in? Because anime is just as diverse as television with all sorts of genres, styles, and timeframes. I do recommend Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (avoid the first series, just titled Fullmetal Alchemist), Death Note is a great series, and the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a fun watch for a bit of campiness and mindfething.

If you watched Bleach and you enjoyed it I don't see why you shouldn't just watch Bleach. That's a good place to start. If you enjoyed Bleach you might enjoy all the other Shonen Jump shows like One Piece or Naruto. Most Shonen Jump shows have a formula to how they work and usually contain the same characters (Personality wise). Each has their own style, but the very core of a Shonen Jump show is always the same.
