some of what she says is bull. and ironic that she reports the worst.
I really want to see a newsday where they say: 'sorry, not much to report...a man allegedly spilled soda on his laptop...that is all'

"That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die" is, actually, from Lovecraft, which Metallica (quite appropriately) used in their song. So technically I was either quoting Lovecraft or quoting Metallica quoting Lovecraft. Still an awesome song.
And dude, that tar skeleton guy from Return of the Living Dead, or whatever... I actually hadn't seen that movie til maybe a couple years ago, like a recently enough that I was an adult, and I still found that guy really, really, really fething creepy.

AND he fits in every fiction genre ever. Fantasy? Throw in some Cthulu. Sci-fi? Throw in some Cthulu. Noir fiction? Throw in some Cthulu. Historical fiction based on the English Civil War? Why, everything is better with Cthulu!
Cthulu is cool, but he's just an elder priest and the stars are always wrong so he never does anything ever.

And to add to the thread
From the first Jeepers Creepers. I say that only because like most decent monster movies, the sequels really fell off the shelf as far as being good goes. But the first one, now that guy was pretty classy.

God, I remember when those first appeared, I flipped out when Drake had to go into the dark, damp, cramped corridors of the submarine bunker.
I have a friend who will never, ever, ever play the COD: Nazi Zombies (Which he loves doing) unless there is a friend over, first time he played it he was freaked out of his mind.

The Biggy Man, while not terrifying, is definately a pulse pounding fight in Splatterhouse 2010.
WARNING, NSFW
just some FYI, Splatterhouse is based on Cthulu mythos, for those of you whom that matters. Also, despite this dude being full health/Necro Meter, he is damn terrible at the game :/

Also somebody put up the concept of the silence out of Doctor Who. Nicely designed, like most things in Doctor Who. But the choreography is frankly crap. All that curling up and chattering, so typical of doctor who. If they changed their choreographer they would be much better off. No, your not wrong, but to be fair, Castlevania started out where they didn't know which evil creature to throw at you, and so had you fight them all, and now it has stuff like Legion in it. Warhammer 40K started out as a joke, but now is incredibly grim dark, and Bioshock was conceptualized as you being on an Island fighting Nazi's... Things change.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
