Cool new additions, and the idea of the exo-suits sounds like they did great!

Oh yeah.

Now that the Allies thing is around. I can finnaly use this wee little Vindicator tank. Traded for a pair of Tech Marines. (i kept the servitors minus one which i used to get the Chimera for)

I traded it for the Tech Marines a while back, while it was still 5th edition and 6th was onyl a mere rumor. The plan was to have him used during apoc matchs to suppliment my other tanks.

Little Vindicator goes "Rawr".

I think hes an earlyer eddition (im not sure which) but hes a heavy resin model. (by heavy i mean i could really hurt someone if it was chucked hard enough)

Yeah I used such alliances in Apoc only fights as there was no way to do so in games of less than 3k. Now I see 6th may well be trashing that and the tourney players likely are all figuring out the new way to play or to see if a tourney will work as some see it as a less than tourney friendly way to play, more hobbyist/collector way with allies and other things .

That's the original 2nd edition Warhammer 40K Vindy. The reason it is so heavy is that the top plate, side details, and the cannon are all 'EAVY METAL.

Brain storming the fate of the 2 captured units.
along with a picture of my Super Heavys and Baneblades.

Also. the Vulcan Macharius Sherdinans Designation of "ARX-109 Anti Infantry Heavy Tank", I have named it the "War Wasp" being fast (fluff wise its faster then its brothers) and strikign with its Vulcan bolters (its savage sting). Hes sitting on the end of the line with his new Stand-off armored skirts.

While having 4 standard baneblades would not be a bad thing im debating what i could do to the new Captured Baneblade.

I could hook up some large Tesla Coils like the Electro-cutioner Executioner Leman Russ. only Larger and more powerful to build a Stormblade.

COuld remove the turret and the center super structure to make it into a larger flat Tank Destroyer like tank that could be either a Shadowsword or Stormblade with a huge cannon slotted into the nose.

Would probly need to make the cannon barrel removable or it would be a real pain to transport with a long gun barrel sticking out the the nose.

im sure there could be other concepts but these are the current 2 i have.

I vote for a fixed cannon. A superheavy Tank Destroyer/Titan Killer is a good addition to any proper regiment.

T28 Super Heavy Tank/T95 Gun Motor Carriage style Tank modification it is.

It shall be the TX95000 Experimental Super Heavy Assault Tank . Built to push through the thickest defenses and unleash its massive cannon to blow away its foes.

If only it could have 15 front armor..... or even 16.... to simulate ultra thick armor. but of course with Apoc battles come D weapons and armor value is moot so it would be nigh invinicble to "conventional" weapons outside Titan or Super heavy weapons (besides the sides or rear)

But i can't (and won't) so it'll be a big and mean version of a Shadowsword.

I haven't checked the new rules for Superheavies, but they've always had structure points. So, just give it an extra SP or two, and you'll be FINE. Maybe a Void Shield.

T95000 currently resembles a glorified Baneblade/Crassius hybrid creation. the center hull of the Baneblade removed with a slaps of plastic in its place to makea box -like (Metal Bawkse ) structure on it.

Not to mention on the very dam front is at least 3 layers of really thick plasticard. or.... Adamantium or some metal that is even stronger then adamantium.... (i can dream)

getting picture hold a sec...

Okay. here it is.

The back end of the upper super structure will slope down to the engine deck in the rear. probly have some Rhino roof doors (ammo loading doors) if i can get enough room. the sides of the super structure will have slope up to the front (where the hull angles down to the head lights).

The Gun will have a giant gunsheild of some sorts.
Currently there are 2 possibilitys.

1.

the gun will have that frontal "over hang" on the gun. very angular and beefy. its what im leaning too right now.

2.the Round half sphere

Ill figure something out....

what else.
oh the little heavy bolter turret from the baneblade will be on the front on top of the super structure.
and im sure there is a bunch of other things im missing that will be added....

I saw him. Its from one of those giant gundam tanks isn't it? i can't remember its name. I went looking for one on the net but could onyl find them at $500+ which is way to much for me.

well, the under carriage can be delicate, I had to pin and use gray stuff to support the rocker arms. I got it at yes-Asia for 155dollars, not 500!! Wow, amazing over charge.

Yep a lot of great details.

Work continues.
part of the rear super structure is built. and the Heavy Bolter turret is on and functional (it spins too). along with the beginings of the sloped armor.

The T95000 will be one of the many prototypes that my fluff has. An off shoot of the Shadowsword Baneblade, long since forgotten but now reawakened to fight for the Emperor.

It will likly just play as a shadowsword but..

14/14/13
SP 6
Volcano Cannon (or in this case, a super cannon that gives the same effect but uses a MASSIVE shell that goes at unbeliveable speeds to do the same amount of damage.)
Lascannons
Twin linked heavy bolters.
Stubber

and maybe a little missile turret on the back with only AA missiles.
I think they have new "flak missiles" but no one has them in the codexes yet, but this little missile turret would fire only those to swat away flyers that bug the giant T95000.

And im off for a bit. to sleep (yes i actully sleep, i just build at late at night due to it being quiet and such.)

After the T95000, i think ill modify the captured chimera into a Medusa.
But the tank would be built akin to the Jagdtiger or Sturmtiger with a large box like structure on its top to mount the gun..

The brute force of the Medusa cannon can be used at a strong AT (Anti Tank) weapon and now with the whole "no longer half strength if the center isn't over the target" thing if i fire into a group of tanks clustered together i could in theory obliderate them all with a single shot with the right rolls of course.

The armored fighting compartment will get rid of that pen table +1 thing of being open topped, too bad its not possible to increase armor value.

like for X points you can increase the armor of 1 side of a vehicale by 1 up to a maximum of 14 (can't have 15).

like the MEdusa cannon could have 13 front end to help it in a Tank Destroyer type role.

Anyways. Captured CHimera to MEdusa gun carraige after the T95000.

Some blasted warp entity damaged the tanks tracks.
came home today and the left track was damaged out of no where.
!

The origional builder of the Baneblade seems to have used really cheap and y glue and the tank seems to be slowly falling apart. i mean removing the center of the tank was incredibly easy! it just snapped off with no damage once i carefully wedged my knife in between the parts.

once again... !

That is why i prefer plastic glue (or even green stuff). not super glue. the dam thing isn't gonna snap apart at the slightest breeze! all my tanks have been dropped to some degree at one point or another and besides the small bits you expect to snap (antenna, thin support sections, and so on) they do not break and whatever does break is fixed easily!

I found the track section deep inside the side of the baneblade and have repaired it. but still at first i thought someone stole the track section! (stoopid chaos sabotuers trying to delay the coming of the T95000!)

Otherwise after the search for the track section i managed to throw together a wee little misisle turret on the back of the T95000 and work continues on.

Drilling through a solid centimeter of plasticard. the gun barrel base is set, over this the gun sheild will go and then the long barrel will be inserted into the gun base.

So the long barrel is removable during transport.

The angled side armor is in place along with plenty of equipment and stowage.
The T95 is getting close to completion in terms of construction. I need a new can of base paint but otherwise im set.

The T95000 Super Heavy Assault Tank, now named the Engine of War (cause its my favorite machine), now has the frame of its gun sheild and the barrel in the nose. The gun shield will gain further armor plating on and around it and the cannon will have a large muzzle break on the end, That and the main Roof will be added and adorned with equipment and other things.

One plan for the main roof is to have a small crane over some rhino doors with a huge shell in a sling to add a bit of dynamics to the tank.

The giant super tank will crush all before it!

Schrott

The T95000 Super Heavy Assault Tank "Engine of War" is one of the great lost mechanicus prototypes from the Vault on the 91st's home world of Schrott. Wielding a cannon that is able to project a mighty titan killing shell at incredible ranges it roars into combat with its weapons blazing. Sitting on the standard Mar Pattern baneblade hull the tanks solid 5 feet of frontal armor comprised of Adamantium and Plasteel is capable of turning away everything but the most powerful weapons in the galaxy, its mighty baneblade engine replaced by a Plasma Reactor that is the powersource of its main cannon.

The Armament of the T95000 is that of a Shadowsword in terms of secodary weapons.
Lascannons, Twin Linked Heavy bolters in sponsons and in a forward turret, along with a missile rack (a smaller prototype weapon in itself) that fires a flurry of minature missiles that line up end to end in flight to duplicate the power of a Hunter killer missile and the humble heavy stubber on the coupala on he bow.

Its Main weapon is the AT7X Hyper Velocity Plasma Propulsion Cannon.
The cannons enourmus shells are forged from left over reactor fuel which make unimaginably dense rounds and give them a jet black appearance, hence the nick name "Obsidian Bullets" which unlike the fabled "silver bullets" of lesser AT rounds is capable of smashing through anything they are flung against. The Cannon's breach is loaded with the shell and a small propellent change of standard explosives, but thats where the similaritys end. Upon firing the small propellent change begins the shells journey down the extreamly long gun barrel and after a certin distance within the cannon the reactor dumps super heated plasma into the chamber that under extreame pressure expands at an incredible rate to propell the shell at velocitys that any other cannon (bar a starships macro cannon) could not dream of reaching. The Cannon lets out a deaffing boom and a ploom of super hot plasma as the shell exits the barrel on its journey down range.

Titans, Super Heavy armor, Stompas, Deamons, and anyone unlikly to be detmined the T95000's target will meet their end. The Engine of War is ready!

*Tech preist "Steve"* "it still needs paint sir, and basing."
*Me* "You had to ruin the moment didn't you?"

Also i have pictures of the "War Wasp" Vulcan Macharius.

I decided not to include the Crane i mentioned in the previous post as it would likly snap off during transport or should the tank fall and get damaged.
As for the Word on the gun barrel. they only say "Grip here to Remove". so i don't forget to hold the solid section of the gun barrel when removing it for transport instead of the outer section which has a tendency to come unglued and slide.

Edit. The super long barrel will be shortened as soon as i get my hands on a beefy muzzle break liek that of the hellhammer cannon (an enlarged erradicator cannon ) or gain the iniative to make one.

It will be reduced down to the barrel section that has the aquilla on it then the muzzle break will go from there. probly an inch or 2 inchs long.

The Juggernaut walker.

in-game it could be the same size as a Warhound but carry either triple turbo lasers or 3 giant quake cannons.
In C&C the armor is thin compared to the other units but thick enough that it can witstand enemy fire enough to deal with the enemy.

so....

Juggernaut Heavy Fire Support Titan.
SP: 4
Armor: 13/12/11

Main weapons.
Triple barreled Turbo laser.
or
Tri-barreled Quake Cannon

and a lonly single twin linked heavy bolter turret on the bottom of the Crew Pod. to shoo infantry away.

Its built for long range fire support, so it sits in the way back (with the basilisks and other things) and unleashs its guns at distance targets.

3 Turbolaser blasts all on 1 target or 3 Quake Cannon template one on top of the other would be devestating.

Jeesus! That think is a Titan Knee-capper!

Remember, the low profile of a Tank-Hunter is designed so it can be easily concealed so it can always make it's first shot count. If you add a bunch of structures and crap on the top it will of course look badass like it does, but it sort of works against the low-profile design. I assume this thing doesn't hide much?

The T95000 doesn't "hide" much at all. Its gonna be on the frontlines using its super cannon to blast away anything in its way. at most it will be in the middle of a formation (think of a modern Carrier group) protected by other tanks, troops, and other support.

Besides. When your vehicale is built upon a Baneblade Chassis, your already throwing your chance of being stealthy out. a Baneblade is Huge.
But the roof will not be gettign any more additions anyways. the crane concept would have been too fragile for it. the tallest things on its hull are now just the communications antenna.

Oh and the T95000's insperation was of the T28 Super heavy tank/T95 Gun Motor Carraige which was giganitic and couldn't hide anyways .

Currently putting together a little Medusa cannon with the captured Chimera. itll probly be base don a short ranged energy pulse device. capable of unleashing a powerful blast at short range (standard medusa shell) or a concentrated blast at longer ranges (bastion breacher shell). the upper deck of the chimera is already down and the cannon is glued down. just need to build the boxy super structure around it.

Re-reading the allies rules thing.

Says i need an HQ + 1 Troop of my allies before i can take anything else (so i can't straight up take the Vindicator and my MAX-97 Terminators, or anything else space marine based)

Well...

As my army is already an experimental test bed for the Mechanicus and salavged war machines. There is room for a division that has room for Experimental armored exo-suit shock troops (As "Space Marine, count as" if you will). The Sub Division of the 91st Experimental Regiment "Section 9" is a team in charge of utalizing many of the more adanced prototypes the Mechanicus employs.

All i need is 1 HQ and 1 Troop choice to play as Space Marines for my Allies.
But i don't want to get Space Marine models. Ill figure something out.

Im not sure what their main weapon will be. Gotta be a beefy gun that people will recongize as a bolter stand in as i have a current lack of bolters in my bitz box. maybe combine grenade launchers (cadian issue) and some tubes and things? *shrug*

As for the armor it will be built similarly to the "termiantors" (built around a guardsmen model) but instead of the bulky square look they will use parts of plastic tubes to give the rounded armor around the arms and legs which would be most characteristic of lighter combat exo-suits.

Local store(s) still don't have my black spray paint. said new shipment would be in "Thursday or Friday", well if it doens't come tommorow it'll be more then annoying. so my Exo-suit terminators and other thigns still won't get based. no less painted.

I alreayd have an idea for a Dreadnaught. based on a unit from the "Halo Wars" game. the Cyclops.

If built correctly the "AX-63 Golem Heavy Exo-suit" could easily be equivilent to the "Coffin on Legs" Dreadnaught.
The tubing used for cannon barrels can easily be chopped up to make the armored legs and arms of the Golem Suit with guns on the arms and a cockpit in the torso of the beast.
the "skeleton" suit would be other bitz and peices.

Will probly only build 1 Golem Suit.

The MAX-97's are all done (but i might make another to change out the current sergent, hes the one in black), and if the weapons load out is wrong ill make more to fix it

All they need now is their own Land Raider, which i think ill use a Panther tank hull to make it. That and the entire "1 HQ + 1 Troop" of the Allies requirements. Ill deal with that later.
Anyways. The MAX-97 Exo-suit troopers are part of Section 9, the Experimental Personal Armor division (Aka Space marine allies).

Current Weaposn load out is similar to normal Termiantors.

The Sergent is mostly done.
only needs the pipes on his legs and hes done (minus paint and such obviously).

So that makes the Squad complete (in terms of transport by standard Landraider).

There is a reason for the non-terminator model parts.
For example: the storm bolters are the type that are usually mounted to a pintle mount and used by Tanks (mine generally use Stubbers mostly), and the over sized and beefy look they give to the wee little storm bolters a terminator holds makes it better to me due to the nature of the Exo-suits compared to a proper Terminator.

Even the heavyier weapons like the assault cannon and heavy flamer. both come from vehicales which their version is generally larger and more robust compared to the version that a terminator has.

Anyways. Besides adding the finishing touches and such to the Sergent's suit ill cut out 1 1/2 inch circle to be put underneath the Exo-Suits bases to give them the same base as a Terminator. Kinda want to be fair

Besides the Energy Cannon Medusa. i think ill try my hand and build The Golem Suit for a Dreadnaught. Just a standard Dread, ill try and find it a weapon system (besides the big robo fists that i want to punch some xeno's in dah face!)

Got some baseing paint.
The War Wasp and the T95000 are based black now.
the exo-suits (terminators) are based too along with a few other things that needed basing like a group of servitors and about 2 basic guardsmen and a heavy weapons team (heavy bolter).

THey will get painted soon.

CUrrently. i have only managed to partially paint the MAX-97 Exo SUit Terminators.

To make them partially different from the rest of the 91st Experimental Regiment i've decided that they will have sections of their armor be a dark Cobalt Blue and somewhere on their armor a big red number 9.(or Gold, havn't decided that yet)

i choose blue for no other reason than its a color I have in my paint box and have not used very much if at all. (that and its my favorite color). it has nothing about any other infamous individuals who are branded in blue... its cobalt anyways.

along side the blue the parts will still have the metallic bronze and silver that the 91st usually has along with the yellow and black caution bands.

THe big tanks like the War Wasp and the Engine of War (T95000) will still retain the colors the other tanks have, but due to it being my favorite ill be doing alot of detail work and such to the T95000.
THis also includes the few guardsmen that need paint. same uniform colors on them.

As for the Servitors. Blacks, Flesh color, silver and bronze with a good bit of red to symbolize the mechanicus.
