Well after a trip to GW, I painted up some of my IG squad, built some more (still WIP as they are a bit odd).. and ran out of primer! good news is that I decided on what im going to add to these guys.. definalty some vendettas (and *stormtalons as allies) so it will definatly be vehical heavy, with a ton of fliers so keep an eye out for that.... any way to the (horrible shot{this is getting to be a problem}) pics!

Well here they are, the stormtalon I just built (minus the cockpit), and the starting of the Vendetta, im currently filling the inside with details so more pics will come when there is more to look at...

but seeing the vendetta in the making is filling my herat with joy even now ... that gunner has a nifty pose^^

well that reminds me, im contimplating what to paint my flyers as, should i go camo or flat green??

two sided... upper part either camo or flat green, underside grey/blueish...

i think you missunderstood me... birds should always get camo for the air...as seen from the ground and the ground as seen from above... so a dual camo job is in need...!

ahh ok i understand what your saying, once i have this beast built i think i'll take it through a spin in GIMP to test out camo scemes

A quick update, I started filling in the valk with bits (and like an idiot forgot to take a picture of the celing i did :( ) well, nothing is glued in so that it can all be painted and put back, but i also got some amazing bases (thanks galorn!) i really like these ones, the casting is great it really only required the tiniest bit of cleanup and than they are ready to be used, the next box i but im definatly going to be using these bases, and im going to use it on my valk, and am probibly going to add some guys and gear down there to make it even more fancy then it already is...

This is one kick ass rag tag unit, each one individually kitted out for their skill sets.

why thanks ldd, glad to see you back on dakka by the way, and being that this is more of my love child than an army, i hope to make each one as individual as these guys ( in my 1500pt list there is only 40 guardsmen, and right now i have around 36 unique heads im planning on using for all of them.. its once i hit that mark that im going to have to figure out what to do next

Now thats a plan mate and love the fact you are making every one of them original will you be GS some pouches and such to give that little more personal touch ? hair and beards with GS may help as well due to limited heads

You could also try alternative manufacturers heads GS scarves and ski masks that could also be an idea well look forward to the next updates

Yes, I found his stuff a long while ago and got into blood pact because of his work.

I still have more to add to the interior of this vendetta, but here it is so far.. C&C welcome
