In Chemistry a few months ago, we had finished "working" and were just shooting the breeze. Somehow, the conversation swung around to WWII. While discussing the fall of Germany, one of the girls spoke up:
"Um, guys... what's D-Day?"
Cue giant eyes and silent stares for a good five seconds.

Also, a girl saying in the middle of World History:
"Wait, the Titanic actually happened? But it's just a movie!"
Geez, high school students can be idiots sometimes...

My dad retold a story that happened to some of the guys when he was a kid. A devious duo decided that they didn't want to go to school that day, but they didn't want to get in trouble for it. They went to the councl and aquired the plans for the water network and went and shut off the mains that lead into the school. No water -> day off! It took the school ages to figure out what was wrong.
