Here is a pick of some of my girls on MAS tech bases....only have 5 so far...have 15 more on backorder from Neal at Thewarstore.
Some minor weapon swaps on the left. I hope to get some paint on these ladies before our game next Thursday. Also....have to assemble some Infinity Nomads for my first 150 pt demo game next Thursday as well...got my first box of remotes in the mail the other day, they look like a pain to assemble (Lots of pinning in my future) so wish me luck!
From left to Right, that's Baby Doll, Michonne, Vasquez, Andrea, and Maggie...Baby Doll curb stomped a Hive Scum that Ozy's gang hired in our game last night, which earned her a +1 WS advance (and a sword upgrade) but also got taken out, suffering a horrible infected wound which will make her miss the next 2 games...Vasquez dropped 3 Cawdor gangers, including Ozy's heavy in the same game, making her the MVP of the night. Ultimately, I lost the game on my first bottle check, turn 3 pr 4 (cant remember). Rolled a 9...my leader has an 8...Maggie has 9 LD, but she aint the leader, so dems da breaks!

Arise! Arise oh forgotten thread!
So, sorry for the 6 months of silence. We had our third kid and thing just kinda got hectic around here!
Not that I will have a ton of time to devote to this thread...but I do want to update it periodically. I will post soon with some project updates and photos. My hobby ADD is in full swing and I'm torn between several ongoing projects all at once...including but not limited to: Necromunda, Epic 40k, Battlefleet Gothic, 40K, Warhammer Quest, Infinity, Zombicide, Space Hulk, and now I am getting gear to try my hand at some resin casting!
More soon...

Real quick update...
I've been so busy with RL stuff...our 3rd child is now going on 5 months, our 2-year old (aptly nicknamed 'destructo') is fully testing every ounce of my wife's and my patience, and its a constant battle trying to get my 9-year old son to do anything but play Minecraft and watch Youtube videos about Minecraft! Serve that with a slice of two jobs and top it off with my hobby ADD (and inability to stay focused on one project through to completion) has me stretched fairly thin as of late. Despite all of this, I have been inspired to enter Briancj's recycled terrain contest last minute! I must be mad because the entries are due this Sunday at midnight, which gives me exactly 3 evenings to gather materials, create a concept, execute the concept, and paint it!
Wish me luck...I'm going to need it.

Ok, had another busy evening...but, I managed to scavenge up some bits from the junk drawer, garage and recycling bin...
Now to figure out what to make....I'm thinking some type of shanty structure withe some pipes...maybe even some rivets?
Bed time for me now, will update tomorrow.

Thanks Vik...I ended up submitting a few minutes late due to my iphone camera photo of it uploaded upside-down. The time I took to flip the photo, then re-upload it and link it in the forum post sent me past the deadline. Ah well, I'm fairly happy with the results...this is probably the fastest and cheapest piece of terrain I've built to date...
Here is a shot with a few base colors and a gryphonne Sepia wash...

Thanks Ozy! I need to get our latest issue of Necromunda Chronicle finished and get it up here. Then its time to finish that barricade from a few posts back (and about 6 months delayed). After that, I will be working on the next LoER terrain competition - " Fire at Will" (Gun Emplacement). I have a concept in mind for a pretty cool Necromunda themed piece...sort of an automated security checkpoint...perhaps set up by the Enforcers on territory that fell into the domain of one of the gang's turf. I will start with some concept sketches... Automatically Appended Next Post: Just for those that were not following Briancj's contest thread... I made this piece to fit in with my Necromunda terrain collection, but it could easily be used in any 25mm to 32mm game with a post-apocalyptic setting (as there are no specific details that tie it into one 'world,' yet!), or with 40K proper. The roof is almost exactly the same height as a standard Necromunda bulkhead, and the two back edges of the roof are straight and at least 3 inches long...so it should work nicely as a bridge transition piece for level 1 platforms in the Necromunda card terrain collection. I'm a big fan of the Borderlands games so you may see some design influences from there as well. I added a Gryphonne Sepia wash to most of the metal and red areas...amazing what a little wash will do. Pic over in my P&M blog...but it was done after the deadline, so disregard for judging. List of materials... concrete walls- Huggies diaper box cardboard corrugated metal sheeting - cardboard box from Costco crackers assortment rubble - Huggies cardboard and chopped up bits of sprue generator thingy on roof - old orange 3-prong to 2-prong plug converter from junk drawer wire - bits of wire from junk drawer vent pipe - discarded pen casing vent pipe cover - cut off the top of an old scented marker cap roof hatch - lid of GW paint pot shanty wall, door, raised details on door and wall - Trader Joes organic peanut butter crackers box card round vent casing - cut from top of red Target pharmacy prescription Rx bottle slats in vent - Trader Joes organic peanut butter crackers box card glue- LocTite super glue from Home Depot, old bottle, nearly dried up...dispenser had to be cut away to get the remaining glue out! old empty wire spool - sewing machine bobbin cable pipe in ground - spacer from an 'under cabinet mounting kit' for an iHome radio (in the junk drawer) base - old CD base texture - beach sand from local beach mixed with coarser dirt/sand from yard base texture adhesive - Elmers 'PVA' glue spray primer - .99 cent flat black spray from Home Depot, nearly empty can filler for thick cardboard edges - last of a nearly dried out bottle of liquid green stuff paint - Adeptus Battle Grey, Khorne Red, Boltgun Metal, Steel Legion Drab

Great use of the target bottle top , I had saved up so many of those when I worked there and filled our prescriptions there. I was going to use h bottles for toes on a Titan. They just looked the part to me. Glad your back, I understand how the real world operates and how young un's kill the hobby life for a few years. It gets better eventually. I can't wait till they get involved with the modeling aspect so we have more in common than the retro cartoons (you know the ones from when we were kids )

Ok, so with the New Year and everyone coming up with resolutions and the like...I've decided to pick back up my Skaven project. And since I don't update my Project Blog often enough...I figured I would just toss it in here...What do you all think?
Should I keep this Plog strictly 40K/Necromunda themed and start a new Fantasy Plog...or, instead of trying to maintain both, should I keep my Plog generic and post all of my crazy ADD fueled projects in one space?
We are starting an escalation league and after 4 weeks we will be rolling it right into a Blood in the Badlands campaign. I'd like to chronicle the journey here on Dakka to get some much-needed moral support and encouragement...as well as helpful comments and criticisms on my work.
So...keep posting in here? Or make a new Plog?
