Missed the KS ? Really sad about that ?

well you're in luck you CAN still get in: from todays update

Now, Late Pledges

I have been contacted by a few people who missed the end of the campaign, some literally by a few minutes

There were various reasons given, but one in particular stands out;

"I work as an ER nurse, and got out of work late today. I missed the end of the bidding by just a few minutes. Is there any way I can still get in on the action"

Now, I don't know about you guys, but I REALLY don't like the idea of penalising someone for having to work late, who helps save people lives for a living.

So, I have decided to allow late pledges for 6 days (from when the project ended) with the following 2 changes:
◾Any late pledgers will ship AFTER all the people who pledged during the funding period
◾They will pay a slightly higher postage (inc UK).

So, as they will ship after you, I don't see a reason for anyone to be upset about late pledges :-)

.

Anyone who wishes to make a late pledge will need to contact me directly, and we can work out the details. You can use this email; Sales@anarchymodels.co.uk

thanks

Brian

Good point! How long is it going to take this bloody guy to deliver the goods we paid our hard earned money for? It's been literally MINUTES so far and still nothing has turned up in the post or confirmation that my pledge has been sent out yet. I'm really getting disheartened by Kickstarter these days. It's shameful.

Tongue firmly in cheek, Anarchy Models, don't get scared away

If these turn out well, Dakka will likely be a really good market for your templates going forward!

Glad it went well

As this campaign is done and dusted I'm going to move this out of the news/rumours board -- do feel free to start a new thread in the news/rumour board as/when you have more products or news to pass on that's not connected to this KS -- I think the P & M boards is the best place, who knows might attract you some more customers.

Good luck with it all

Now that this campaign is over...

...where the heck does this thread go now?

Not sure what sub-forum it should end up in, so please let me know what you think.

Thanks!

I'm glad to know that I am one of only 20 people who had an expired card somehow linked to this kickstarter

Not sure how, since I changed my card details a while ago, but hey

Hi

The plan is towards the end of this week, but I need to get a few more of the designs finalised first so you can make an informed decision.

Thanks

Yeah, the mini camo looked pretty cool - unfortunately I think it would be a bit too small for most of the models I would want to use it on (plus I only went for three stencils ).

Went for the large grid and tribals for pimping my Eldar, and digital camo no.2 for my general camo needs.

I went for one of the mini digi cam stencils, too Yonan and a few of the regular sized hexo cam stencils. Looking forward to getting them, hopefully by December!

Anarchy seems to be on the ball and have been pumping out production models all this time so yeah it shouldn't be far off. Will definitely be fun to play with!

hey guys,

Glad to see surveys are working ok, we could not even see the survey system while the campaign was running, so it was a little scarey, heh.

but yes, so far things are going more or less to plan (little slower than I thought due to being 4 + times the funding I thought we might get, heh)

The main jobs now are finalise a few pesky designs, and work on the instructions.

Not sure what you guys think, but I could probably ship a little sooner if I email the instructions out later?

cheers,
Brian

Instructions are for the weak! Delays don't bother me, but I'm all for emailed instructions instead. Hard copy just gets in the way anyway, you've always lost them by the time you need them and finding them with a screwdriver glued to your face is always annoying.

Can you print instructions on the back of the sheet?

However emailed or online instructions seem fine to me. Video demos might also be appreciated

Well, i'm thinking of having them online anyway as you say, in case people loose them, regardless of if I send paper ones with the stencils.

Intructions on back of sheet;
in theory you could, but its not practical, as some sheets are a little larger than A4, and if you put cut sheets through a printer you loose 1/2 the stencils I expect.

you can always printer some and stick them on the back :-)

Demo Video's;
I hope to have many video's, one for most designs, but this will take a long time to do, and definatly not something I can do so they are ready when we ship.

in case you missed them, here are 4 videos that we made already; (2 by us,and 2 with Beasts of War)

I'd love to see sample images of all of the different stencils in one place. They're scattered all over the place right now, and the KS front page is a nightmare I'm not willing to wade through, especially since it doesn't have them all displayed.

Hey,

I have just replied to the KS message you just sent about this, here is a copy paste from that message( BUT, please read the message too, as this is not all of what I said )
that I will put here in case others want this too.

"Right now, there is no complete list on one page, as i cant edit the main project page anymore.

If you give me some time, i will get my web guy to create a page on my web site to show the complete list.
(until this is done, please ignore any survey reminders, as i say, they are not from me personally)

I cant think of another practical way to do it, if you can i'm all ears."

cheers,
Brian

It was fairly hard to see what the deal with the stencils was I have to admit, so it took a while to finish my survey. Got through it in the end, but took a little guess work which wasn't ideal but pretty sure I got it how I want it.

edit: ninjaed! Yep thatlooks like a good solution Brian, Kickstarter has some... flaws... to its system.

I received my stencils from the kickstarter last week, nice and securely packaged as promised!

Had a quick test on some plasticard, these stencils are going to be great ; ) They feel durable enough for repeated use, suitably sticky to adhere to the surface and have nice crisp details. I'll try to get some pics up in the next week for some small scale things I have ideas for. I don't have a large model ready to use them on yet, but my plasticard tests are enough to recommend them to people looking for high quality stencils. Great product Anarchy!
