Just whenI thought I had seen the back of Grotz...... I've been continuing painting the Gorkamorka converted boyz, I decided the Rokkit launcher Ork need a little helper to load, so I came up with this guy. pics-

Pig the Rokkit Helper.

I had a go trying to make a little boar/pig/squig hat for him out of green stuff, he'll share the same base with the Ork when finished.... hopefully, if he fits!

Thanks for looking.

Hey all,

Over the Easter weekend I managed to get some time to model. I've been doing a bit of painting of the Wolf head boss and I've got most of the hard work done on the remaining boyz, they just need bases and a load of green stuff work.

pic-

cheers.

I'm not sure , the Gorkamorka boyz had Sluggas so I made these the same. I haven't played a game in years so I don't know if its a good idea or not haha. They will be in a Trukk at some point if that helps!

Good to Know Matthew! I will get round to making Trukks at some point, but then again I'll also get around to making Cyboars, Squiggoths and maybe even a HQ unit ....

Thanks Cam, those guys are mainly made out of Savage Orc boyz.

Thanks WW.

I've been tinkering with a few bits trying to get a plan for the Trukks, I've been toying with the idea of basing them. What are peoples thoughts on based vehicles and what would be a suitable size? The flying base oval for example.

WOW. This is amazing, brilliant work. The conversions and the painting are both stellar. I love this thread! Please, keep them coming; I can't wait to see more.

The boyz have so much flavor and character and originality. That nob with the boar head is just wicked.

The painting is very interesting. You use a lot of tones and shades that you don't often see on Orks with light blues and purples and pinks. You have a much more artistic knack for colors than most of us could ever hope for and you are brave enough to use non-traditional colors on your Orks and it makes them even more unique and original.

You've definitely inspired me. I was not really looking forward to painting another batch of regular Ork boyz, but converting and painting something like this would be great fun.

Thanks The Riddle of Steel, I like to use a lot of complimentary colours, so yeah, purples pinks etc just to break up all the Green.

Thanks bebopdrums2424, I always look forward to seeing what people come up with for Orks, mainly just for idea stealing

.........

I've been working my way through the rest of the Gorkamorka inspired unit, I've got 4 finished and 4 to do! Couple of pics below, (bases aren't done yet).

Hopefully they'll fit in with the Gorkamorka models to make something resembling a unit.

Cheers.
