Subject: Crusade of Fury. (insert your forces into the crusade, for or against)
It was time, the conditions where perfect, munitions ready and target locked.
"Deploy the low yield warheads to sector 135 Beta, Targets Magenta, Crimson and Lilac. Order all forces to remain at least 140km from the target epicenters. "
"see Inquisitor Drax i DO follow through on my oath, do not doubt me again" sternly warned Lord Karak.
Aboard the massive warship they felt nothing but over a dozen shells raced to the planet, aimed at 3 ork settlements.
Debries and dust rose from the impacts, "ha dem humies bomz do nout" laiughed the ork, it would be its last. gas erupted from the craters, anything organic the gas touched turned black dying in seconds, ork, gretchin, beasts and spore was destroyed instantly at the cellular level.
in minutes no life remained in the target zones, all dead, flesh and organic matter turned to nothing but rottern pools of foul liqud.
"the reports are good Drax, your weapon works, tell your masters that we have played our part, now give us what you promised." despite his ultimate power and title, even Drax knew he was only a human among a group of superior warriors in every sense, outnumbered, his life may rest on his masters delivering there promises... Templers did not take dishonour lightly, reneging on a deal would be considered a serious insult and one only a fool would comit.
The weapon was old, very old, its original formula was made by the death guard before the Hersey. found by the Inquisition it had been combined with life eater and other foul weapons to the very apex of death itself.
but once opened Pandoras box remained open.....

My Kasrkin have landed on several planets in the system and work has begun to undermine enemy defenses on the planets in order to pave the way for the rest of the crusade's forces to take and hold the planet. In addition, we've intercepted a fair bit of vox traffic from the greenskins indicating a growing interest in the planet of Gailor Prime. Alert Lord General Kruger, this could be of interest.
Regards,
Colonel Veck

Acolyte Fendrick tittered to himself in Binary Cant. The Arch Magos would not be happy, the Bobbie trapped tram line had trapped over 14% of their dig crews below ground with a further 8% presumed dead from the blast that had shattered the ork's crude monorail. Surviving Skitarii had only just been able to reestablish contact with the flagship; an Alpha by the name of Dorvan Mar had been elevated to the rank of secutor; thus if their transmissions were disrupted again the grounded cohorts would not be Commanderless and now news that the inquistion had indeed retrieved their prize was only salt in the wound.
The heathens knew not what they were tampering with. It occurred to Fendrick that neither did the exploritor fleet; he immediately erased this thought and chastised his databanks for such a heretical databyte.
"My lord, Mar reports that his troops have made good progress, they hope to soon be able to resume digging operations within the next cycle; he hopes that you will allow him to call down auditional troops from the 2nd legion to replace those he has lost; he states that by his calculations they are at a sub optimal 57% fighting potential."
Fendrick gulped; or at least did the closest he could to gulping for someone who technically no longer had a windpipe.
"He also requests that you authorize blackwatch protocols; Arch Magos I really do respectfully suggest that we forbid him from utilizing... His potential."
Sound boomed from vox speakers implanted under the Dominus' fraying robes.
INFORM SECUTOR MAR THAT HE HAS MY PERSONAL PERMISSION, TELL HIM THAT HE IS RELEASED TO CONTROL LEVEL 2 WITH BLACKWATCH PROTOCALS TO BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM. TELL HIM THAT MORE TROOPS ARE ON THEIR WAY AND THAT HE IS TO RESUME EXCAVATIONS IMMEDIATELY, THAT IS ALL ACOLYTE YOU MAY GO.
The dominus turned back to his work, the finely route metallic hand lay on the bench in front of him; as he prodded the exposed wires at one end the fingers twitched and a small insect like repair drone sidled out from between the limp fingers.
Praise be to Dark Sphere savior of cheapskates!

The shattered remnants of Strikeforce Praetoria had been pulled off the frontlines to act as a rearguard force. Whilst it did allow for the demi-company's wounded brethren to get rest and treatment for their various wounds, time off had never once been part of Battle Brother Ionus' battle-plan. No, whilst Aurelius had led some of Strikeforce Praetoria and the Cadian 13th on half-a-dozen successful ship-boarding actions, he was relegated to this. Standing guard to Cargo Dock Beta-5 for the Lord-General's starfort, ensuring that nothing went wrong. His bolter was in the armoury, practically begging to be fired. Soon, my friend, Ionus thought, very soon.
"Relax brother." Traken muttered over to him. "Emperor be willing, you fret more about this than the blasted greenskins." "We should be down there. Who deploys Astartes on guard duty?" Traken snorted. "Our Acting-Captain, apparently." "Hmph. Acting-Captain Aurelius. Who had he taken with him on that last sortie?" "Tirian's men, the first company lot and Solinus' squad. They managed to get a chain-reaction going inside one of those ork ships yesterday." Ionus nodded. "Heard about that. Apparently, Corpus is getting battle honours for it." "Aye, can't complain. He always was good with his grenades." "Any casualties come through?" "Nay, praise the Emperor." Traken made the sign of the aquila. "We'll be joining them soon." "I tell you something, it's a near miracle Sicarius hasn't come and pulled Praetoria out of here. You know how he felt about casualties." "How could we forget? A bit harsh, I felt." "Necessary."
Clack, clack, clack, clack, clack, clack.
The two Astartes paused for speech as the nobleman strutting forward led his caravan of goods towards the archway. He had his head buried in a dataslate, ocular implants whirring. Ionus could actually taste the perfume, mixed with the stench of frustration. Towering over the man, he glanced at the dataslate. Shipping directions, Cargo Dock Beta-5. He sighed. Incompetent mortals.
"You." He barked, helmet speakers kicking in. The noble squeaked, nearly falling over. He hadn't even noticed the Astartes. He stared, wild eyed at the Ultramarine, questioning with his big, watery eyes. "Yes, you. Pick yourself up. Cargo Dock Beta-5 is right in front of you. Look up next time." Ionus grinned inside his helmet. The nobleman looked as if he were about to bawl. To his credit, he did manage to stand up and stutter before storming huffily through the arch. His clacking footsteps paused. "Third row on the left." Ionus called after him. The clack, clack noise took off again.
"Fething traders." Ionus grunted in mirth. "Did you see his face?" Traken chuckled. "How could I not? Humorous, brother. Keep this up and I fear you may begin to enjoy yourself. What would I do without your pessimism?" Ionus flexed his gauntleted fingers as he chuckled. Soon.

securing one planet properly and advancing from a secure line of retreat and supply. no rushing ahead and getting cut off by orks.

Bring order to the chaotic space. once and for all.
Aboard the Rough, bodged, and ramshackle asteroid base a number of odd glow globes lit the corridor casting shadows randomly, deck plates where haphazardly welded, bolted and braced, Not much better than a orks work.
Chaplain Saladin strode forward, the High chaplain clad in ancient terminator armour dating back to before the heresy, the Great corzious, forged from the ruins of a relic of the siege of Terra itself in his right gauntlet and a massive shield in the left, ornately decorated with the chapters heraldry.
Behind him followed 10 terminators, Hardened warriors, wielding a mix of mighty hammers and shields, Brutal lighting claws and power fists supported with flamers and storm bolters. Only a fool would try to stop them....
“Stop, this base belongs to the Pirate lords” boasted a brutish man, combat stimms folding his blood stream and swaggering forward with a chainsword in hand.
quietly over the Vox, the chaplain whisered, “he’s mine”, dutiful nods confirmed the order.
Striding forward, raising the great crozious slamming the unpowered weapon squarely into his chest sending him flying across the corridor, a wet thud and the wreck of what was once the pirate lay bleeding into the gully.
“now take me to this false lord, or suffer his fate” threatened the chaplain, raising the blood stained weapon, they instantly obeyed.
On the Vox
“This is strike force sword, proceeding to target. Have black sword destroy anything that tries to escape, Saladin out”
On a throne stolen from a imperial Navy ship the pirate lord could hear thundering boots on decks, closer it came, too powerful to suffer minor ork raids, too weak to summon a waaargh, he had had a good run, blamed on the orks the ship loss’s went unnoticed. Until now.....
The Eldar, tall. lithe and alien, seeing that this pirates usefulness had come to a end, he had kept the orks off balance now it was time to leave him to his fate. sliding into his armour he pulled out a small organically shaped box, simply thinking the right code phrase he stepped out of existence into a secret webway entrance where his people would reward him for the information, the impirum had come in force.

I sent everyone the results, here is how i picked this one. First random number if odd means winners are lower than final number. Second random number means if lower is bad(odd) or good(even), then picked the actual random number(73). So yet again the templars are doing well. I look forward to hearing how i let things fall for everyone.

Brother Ghero had seen more than most mortals would ever dream of, the rolling grass tundra of Edril, the frozen waste lands of Wredois, the massive hive cities of Apiolsi and he had seen what Orks could do to these beautiful lands as well. Turning them into savage waste lands and crude fixtures dedicated to their “Gods”. Here though on Hidgon he was experiencing something totally different and more brutal, here he saw for the first time what Chaos could do to a world.
Beneath the inner city the tunnels ran with blood of the former population which in habited the sky lines. Skulls and gore ran from tunnel to tunnel choking, clogging and pushing into the areas where his armor was rended. Brother Ghero could still hear the shouts of his brothers when the Demons sprung their ambush. There was little room to maneuver in the confines of the tunnels and combat had been brutal in hand to hand combat. His squad didn’t stand a chance, the red demons cutting through his blood brothers armor with little effort. Chain swords found no meat to grind, instead a blurry vision would take place of the demons followed by quick counter attacks. Brother Sergeant Franz had called out to Ghero to leave and warn the others, their voxes either scrambled by the demons or too far below surface to reach the squads above.
Ghero pushed further backwards into the blood and guts, asking the Emperor for protection in this time of peril. At first Ghero could not believe what he was seeing, a red demon riding a giant monster with razor sharp teeth. It seemed to snort blood and anger as it sniffed the air, looking for the descendant of Guilliman. Perhaps Ghero now smelled like his surroundings and no longer like the fresh paint the adepts had put on his gauntlets. No amount of blood and gore could cover the smell of righteousness to the four legged monster and his handler.
Bounding down the tunnel the monster came, in leaps and splashes it sent skulls and gore flying. No bolter round would stop this beast from claiming its prey. Brother Ghero yelled in defiance as his brothers had “Faugh a ballagh!” before his skull was added to the tide.
Spoiler:
Well my random number came out below 70 as well. The Wolverines Valiant are in a struggle with the heralds of khorn, who will help them?

Aboard the Mork’s revenge Kaptin Lud stood in the ships large cargo bay surrounded by nob Honork guard and a trio of Warp eads. A Nob by the name of Zogspitta spoke in a somewhat concerned voice. “Boss I don’t fink dat dis iz a good idea”. The warboss laughed “I fink it’s a great idea. Dat Assassin told us dem Chaos boyz have been looking for over pieces to dis fing. Dat means dey probably knows wat dis fing iz and dey might already have some of da pieces. As Zoggin great as I am I know I can’t stomp dem omies all by meself, even wif yer guys elp, dem omies don’t want to fight proper. Now we can’t go back to get any orks help seeing as Grinbad is probably still mad at over my business venture, and dem Tau gitz are workin wif da orks, dat leaves chaos as are best and only choice in allies. Wif der elp we can show dem omies wats wats ” The ork made a fist with his new robotic hand and slammed it into his meaty green palm. The nob gave a concerned glance “But couldn’t we just send a letter or somefing, dis doesn’t seem safe.” Weirdboy Zeknet a half insane snakebite spoke with a maniacal laugh “Don’t worry Zoggy, Warp communication is easy, we’ll be talkin to dem chaos lads in no time”. Zogspitta was annoyed at the weirdboy’z pet name for him but said nothing of it, instead addressing his primary concern, “Den why da zog do you needs us here in eavy armor”. The Weirdboy laughed “In case it turns out to be not so eazy”. Kaptin Lud laughed “let’s get dis show on da road”.
The three weirdboyz gathered in the center of the cargo bay forming a triangle. The two snake bites were covered in red war paint as they felt it would speed up the process, but Zeknet felt luck being more important than speed was adorned in blue war paint. Zeknet slammed his staff to the floor, its clear crystal at its head running purple. Zeknet began speaking with unnatural bass in his voice “By da powers of Gork and Mork I bid to thee, Chaos boyz ere my call” at that moment purple energy spouted from the other two orks mouths, forming a mystic clowd above everyone in the room. Zeknet looked to the Kaptin and whispered “Now Kaptin speak and be heard”. Zeknet than spouted the purple beam from his throat causing the cloud to become brighter and less transparent. Kaptin Lud stepped forward and spoke “Ok here’s da deal. I need help krumping deez omies, you chaos ladz seem to knows lots bout dis fing dat wuz on Mogrok but apparently aint no more. I don’t know wat it iz or wat it does but what I do know iz I got one of da keys dat you needs to get it. So I propose an alliance I help you gitz get dis weapon or whatever da zog it iz wif my key, den we use it to stomp da omies back to da durt. After dat da fing iz all yours don’t give a zog what you do wif it so long as we make da omies urt, I gots a score to settle wif der boss”. Lud was about to tell Zeknet to kill the transmission when a voice came from the cloud, it was feminine but had a wrath to it “You dare to mettle in things you don’t understand ork, and you disturb my play time this I cannot allow” the voice than released a maniacal laugh and a sparks flew from the cloud. From nowhere appeared a dozen of scantily clad Daemonettes. They immediately charged the unprepared nobs three of which were dead before they could draw weapons. Than two more sparks flew into the skulls of the red painted weirdboyz. The Snake bites began clawing at their own skin. The Nobs were finally able to retaliate against the demons Zogspitta clearing away three at once with his Big Choppa, but as the nobs cleared away the Daemonettes sending back to the hell they came from the two weird boy had begun to transform into something grotesque. Lud transformed his cybernetic fist into a power klaw and began evaporating the demons by the handful. As Zeknet struck the last demon with a force charged blow of his staff they heard a blood curdling yell.
The two weirdboyz had finished their transformation, one on the Right who had formerly been known as GoreZox was approximately half a foot taller, he had removed all the skin from his face revealing a flaming skull. His hands had been replaced with claws of a crustacean. On the left is the thing that was no longer ShackBait but a monster who’s enlarged spine separated his torso from his legs, while his arms became a sort of blade made from bone. The remaining nobs charged at the creatures yelling WAAAGH! as they approached the foul things. The two chaos spawn began countering the predictable nod blows scissoring and slicing their way through. Zeknait twirled his staff and slammed it to the ground a bolt of fire came whirling to the ShackBait thing turning him to ash. Lud charged the GoreZox creature removing its heart with his power klaw than crushing it before its very eyes. Whiles this seemed to wound the monster it did not prevent it from lunging at the warboss. The creature and lud were on the ground in a death struggle Lud managed to sever one of the creatures claw but it still persisted with the other. Zogspitta than stuck his Big choppa into the creatures back. The move hurt the creature enough to return the advantage to Lud. Lud grabbed the monstrosity by the face with his might klaw and crushed it. The creature dropped dead and slowly began fading away. In the end 7 out of 10 of Lud’s Honork guard layed dead in the cargo bay with no other proof of the demons presence.
Lud stood up knocking away the filth from his shirt and trousers. Zeknet laughed “See Zoggy das why you wuz ere” Zogspitta was somewhat amused by the ork’s madness and joined in his laughter. Lud relaxed from the fight asked “So what’s dis mean about our alliance wif da chaos boyz” Zeknet shrugged “I don’t know only time will tell if it went through or not, can’t try again though them were ma last two warp heads, gonna have to find a ead banger dat can do Warp speak.” Lud made no expression as he turned to zogspitta “go around da ship and find da biggest nobs you can, gotta replace deez dead gits”. The Nob shook his head in understanding he yelled “Gobbles” and a Gretchen appeared from a crevice between two shipping containers. When the grot appeared he yelled “Go assemble a cleaning crew don’t want deez gits stinkin up da place”. The Gretchen saluted and scampered off.

Colonel Halter of the Cadian 13th Remnants Regiment, reporting for duty.
We deliver this field report with a heavy heart, my lord. Our garrison actions on Chormi, a recently liberated world in this crusade, have met with complications.
Ork Kommando raiders infiltrated the most heavily populated hive, Caster, yesterday and flooded the lower compartments. Exact death tolls are unclear, but our Administratum aides estimate casualties exceeding twelve thousand. We are still attempting to hunt down the orks that perpetrated this heinous act. I have tasked the Scion platoon under my command to bring me their heads, if it pleases the Emperor.
As such, I regret to inform you that Chormi will be unable to meet it's quota to form the 31st Chormian Infantry Regiment by the required deadline and contribute to the war effort. However, my regiment, the Cadian 13th Remnants, are at optimum operating capacity, and would be honoured to rejoin the frontlines to atone for our failure. However, if you still require occupational forces, we stand ready.
Ave Imperator.
Transmission ceased.

so nearly 2000 words, lots of lovely stuff spoilerd as its abit longer than normal but it seemed to work so hey
My chaplain has gone to rescue your Wolverines but will he be in time?
What relic did they find on the ork world?
and how will the Ultramarine respond to the find?
FInd out in the spoiler tab
Spoiler:
The Wolverine Valiant backed off, Bolters spewing dozens of bolts but doing nothing to the cursed beast’s skin, simpley vanishing before their eyes like mist.
Drawing his combat blade the Marine prepared to die as he lived facing the enemy in combat, no running, and blade to blade.
Above the planet the light Frigate Purity raced above, the Chaplain had brought 9 of the most zelous and pure warriors in the fleet, each one possessing the one weapon that might overcome the monsters, Pure faith, nothing simple or more complex than utter belief in the emperors light.
As they boarded the modified drop pod, the Chaplain gave what would likely be his last prayer if this did not work, so it be, to die in battle was his fate, he would embrace it head on.
The blessed steel gleamed in the dark drop pod, ancient designs of weapons but blessed on Terra itself in the very halls of the palace.
The Pod hurtled to the planets surface, retro rockets would slow them at the last moments, if they worked.... it was always a risk.
In the tunnels they advanced, mad humans and creatures tried to kill them with there bare hands, not human anymore, simply beasts who only knew to kill, the great Crozius smashing them aside with ease. The madness grew, blood floated, skulls aflame, Chaos was here. The Chaplain was fearless, bolstering the marines with him they advanced upon the beast itself, a group of Wolverine Valiant Backed into a bunker, the beast truanting them.
Slamming the Crozius staff into the ground, his faith channelled into its form, the lesser mad beings fled or tore themselves apart, Purity the athema to chaos. His Brothers with swords advanced on the lesser beasts, Warded steel causing them to scream as the runes glowed bright white when plunged into their warped flesh.
“run along now little man before i take that skull you hide beneath that nice little helmet of yours” taunted the beast, a Red monster, all tightly corded muscles and spikey black bone.
they closed, the great Crozius met cursed blade and sparks flew, its talons cut into his shoulder guard, slicing through like it did not exist. “weak armour little manno in a metal canno” chided the beast jovialy.
“Return to the foulness of the warp beast, before i send you screaming back” roared the Chaplain charging again smashing the claw to pulp and sending it reeling. Taking advantage he drew a large brass ball. A Holy blessed grenade filled with sacred oils and powerful wards detonated and white flames burned the monsters flesh, lesser beasts just dissolved and writhed into nothing.
“you might be worth fighting after all skull face, il enjoy this” softly but with great maliace rang in the chaplains head. Again the charge, blocking the sword and ramming the remaining good shoulder guard into its chest, however suddenly another claw grew, severing his arm at the elbow and sending him flying back with its rage.
This fight would not end well, the beast advanced slowly about to savour the kill, the Crozius was lying too far, his pistol useless, his last act was to pray for the strength to die like a Marine, no screams or fear.
But soon as the deathblow was about to come a wall of spectral flame raced down, flaming skulls simply turned to dust and the beast retreated as a ghostly marine wreathed in flame duelled the beast and smote it to the ground with ease, its Brothers advanced purging the remaining accursed creatures then vanished back into the fire which bore them.
6 of his 9 where dead, 2 injured, and with the Wolverine Valiant they brought the dead back to the waiting thunder hawk at a ruined plaza in the city. Its glass dome shattered easily letting the gunship land among the ruins of a pleasure garden.
************
In the centre Lord Marshall Karak was laying siege to a Ork stronghold, its thick walls where holding up well to the Kreigmans guns and attacks, thousands had died, no gains but that was to be expected. Crude as they where Ork defences could the match of any imperial walls.
it was time for the Templers to take the lead and purge this scrap heap of a greenskin city or as close as one ever could be called.
“Brother Sentinal” ready my landraider, order all the guns to keep firing, tell the Skitari to bring forth the city breaker”
City breaker, a grav cannon of extreme potency, built onto a superhevay chassis with arcane defences it was the most powerful weapon he had available, crude but effective energy barriers has withstood orbital attacks mostly unscathed.
“Prepare the Brothers for immediate attack when the wall crumbles”
**
The engines rumbled gently as they laid in wait, dozens of armoured tanks of all kinds from fast Rhino APC’s to the tough Landraider and Deathkorp Gorgons which waited behind each filled with up to 50 grim expandable souls.
The wall shook, dust and scraps fell free from the walls, the humming grew more intense as the power ramped up and cracks began to appear in the green skin defences, a minute or so later the wall gave way, its own weight dozens of times in excess of before the ground collapsed and fell backwards with a cloud of dust and shouting.
Engines roared and tracks tore into the dry hard ground, the assault had begun.
The breach was filled with Orks as the first Templers clashed with the primitive defenders in a huge melee of swords, axes and rifle butts and blood, blood soaked the ground and made the ground treacherous, Marines mag locking to scrap metal soon began to drive them back but not without cost. The Pruge was Brutal, Karak and his honour guard lead the push to the Warboss’s main citadel and land raiders supporting spewed walls of Bolts, Flame as colossal Vindicator shells pounded buildings to nothing but bent and burnt metal with comptemptous ease.
The Warboss looked on from his Fortress at the cities core, Black Tanks pushed through the cities mass of orks and beasts, Grim masked Humies burned entire sections to ash and half metal cyborks where relentlessly purging the mek town of its population and machines.
“right you gitz theres beakies coming dis way, lots of beakies, we hav those humie cyborks in mektown and the Humies in masks who love to die are burning everything they can see so lets go out and show em what real orks can do with a choppa
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrgh”
The two waves clashed at the foot of the hill which stood the crude citadel, a huge ork lead a wave of muscular brutes downwards with unstoppable momentum, the Marines stood shoulder to shoulder locked into a solid phalanx of armour and shields.
The clash was devastating, many orks fell as bolter fire sawed through the first orks and then came the biggest of there kind clad in thick armour they reached the space marine lines and the battle began in earnest.
The Marshall and a Sword wielding Chaplain lead a wedge into the centre aimed directly at the warboss, relic blades gutting dozens of orks and sending the lesser creatures feeling back in chaos.
“Face me Foul Xeno and meet your death by my sword” Bellowed out the Marshall, clad in terminator amour yet still the Ork stood larger, stronger, but not smarter.
Odd moments, even orks seem to understand personal one on one combat, a circle formed at the centre of the melee as ork and Templar sized up the other, looking for weakness, the warboss had cunning eyes, massive armour was bolted to his very flesh and the weapon he bore was a mix of chains, saws and razor sharp blades.
Closing the ground the Marshall raised his shield for the coming blow, the shield held but grinding metal screeched and sparks flew, he would not be able to rely on defensive tactics this time. Taking the offensive he struck out hard sheering off several thick plates and leaving great welts in the huge orks arm but it took far more than that to stop one.
Lashing out with anger the Ork slammed a large crude metal choppa into the Marshall exposed arm sending even the terminator backwards, exploiting it the beast charged forward as the rest of his savage kind cheered but even off balance the Marshall saw his opponents weakness.
Risking all he dropped the shield and drew his combat blade, as the ork advanced, confident he had won, Karak stabbed out where only metal mesh was guarding its throat and driving the blade up into its primitive skull. The beast fell forwards, hitting the earth hard, its chain blades and still wirring as it fought the inevitable ended with a single blow severing its head for good.
The death of the Warboss broke the mob, Ork killed ork, marine and pure chaos erupted into there lines and soon they purged the fortress of all xeno life.
**
in searching the crude citadel they found much accumulated rubbish, primitive glyphs and a collection of skulls, human, alien, beast, nothing of note. Until smashing down one of the gateways one of the Honour guard found a old sword, Human in origin, half buried in trash and empty ammunition casings.
Later analysis found it was far older, a relic forged according the Master of the Forge decades before the heresy, though much damaged the legion symbol was of the Ultramarines. A Parogon blade, only that could have survived this long, alongside it a ruined shoulder guard bearing similar symbols and finaly a name, it was looted from the tomb of one of the Primark’s bodyguard long thought lost and destroyed 5000 years before.
Captain Aurelious would offer much to bring this home, Captain Scicarous was well known to Marshall Karak and may well help secure the younger Ultramarines captaincy.

Aboard the Dakkanator, Boss Grinbad sat in his command throne on the bridge, gripping the arm of his chair. The massive ork yelled to his first mate "Whaddya mean der workin for da omies". Krem cleared his throat and began to speak "I mean I reached out to dem Blood Axe Warbosses like you asked but it turns out demz iz working fer da omies". Grinbad slammed his fist down to the chair that also served as his trophy rack, "Zoggin BLOOD AXE SCUM!" The statement didn't sit well with Gadnuk, Grinbad's head kommando who was a Blood Axe himself, "You'd have done da same fing if da omies offered to pay ya, teef iz teef". The warboss growled "Its not da same fing when I'm da one gettin betrayed!" The nob kommando spoke with some irritation “Isn’t it though”. The Kaptin growled “YOU Blood axe gitz can’t comprehend dat dis iz bigga den teef. Dis is about stompin a sectah, dis is about ultimate powa” Gadnuk fed up with the massive orks rantings decided to let Krem speak.
"Reports say dat boss GobKruncha, KillTusk, and JunkBurna have been attacking other other ork positions exactly where it would be most advantageous for da omies. Infighting is fairly common amongst Warbosses, but considering deez ladz are blood axes and da omies have taken advantage of all da incidents, it would seem da omies either got an alliance wif dose blood axes, or der manipulatin dem, don’t really matter way I sees it." Grinbad arose from his seat "Dis iz why you can't trust Blood Axes, traitors and cowards da lot. We can't let a few treacherous runts like Lud and KillTusk slow us down, as soon as we get dis vault dey will pay." Gadnuk made no reaction to the statement, a lack of action Grinbad noticed and disliked.
Grinbad looked to Gadnuk "Go, leave us" the nob nodded and left the bridge. Grinbad stepped forward to the main bay window, he spoke sounding paranoid "I don't fink we can trust Gadnuk no more" Krem spoke confused "Why boss he's done a good job as lead sneeka". The ork looked around the room "Da Blood axes are out to get me, fink about it deez new gitz Blood axes, Lud Blood axe, and Gadnuk is Blood Axe to da bone, how long before he joins up wif da rest of his kind" Krem was concerned Grinbad has never sounded so insane before "Boss Gadnuk has done good Zoggin work fer us, remember when he and his boys lifted dem Mantas back on Dollorus." The ork violently turned to the nob "he used his blood axe trickery to do dat and I'm afraid he might do da same fing to me." The large pirate boss shook his head "Gadnuk's gotta go in fact all blood axes gotta go not only off my ship, dey must be exterminated, every last one of dem in dis entire morkin scetah!" The Pirate lord looked to his first mate and said "Your either wif me or against me on dis Krem" Krem sighed fearing for the the orks sanity"I'm wif ya." The boss spoke coldly "excellent call da WAAAGH! Council, its time we turn dis war around, first we deal wif da blood axes in our ranks den we deal wif dat squig sniffa Lud”
For my next action my own two ork freebooters are going to go at it. for Grinbad (the blood axe racist) I choose 84 to see if he catches Lud. For Lud I choose 17 for him trying to escape Grinbad's fleet, or get chaos help.

Archarus looked around the ruins of the promethium mine. "My orders were for it to be taken, not leveled" he hissed.
Skiraz was quick to speak up, "Those Wolverines arrived, and we detonated the facility to stop them from taking it. Their was nothing else to do, Warsmith."
Archarus had lost too many of his trusted guard, and didn't want to turn anyone against him, not when his own throne of command was threatening to collapse. After news had spread of their part if the staff being a fake, added along to the unexpected bitterness of the resistance to his raids, some called for a new Warsmith, and the talons of Archarus' secretive executioner could only silence so many at a time. Instead of snapping at his trusted follower, he slowly shook his head, and ordered for a squad of Flesh to scavenge the area for any parts they could use.
"How many were lost for this wreck?" He asked at last.
"In this fight? 237 Flesh died to the explosions, and 14 astartes fell fighting, 11 of which were vat born, which explains the incompetence" Skiraz hissed, knowing his hatred for the lesser marines was no secret.
"I hope Pugarr's new rabble performs better, these losses are the last thing we need. That I need." Archarus grumbled, picking up a piece of shrapnel and looking at it.
"76% of the Flesh are still in fighting condition, 14% are dead, 4% are damaged beyond repair, and the remaining 6% can rejoin the fight soon enough." Skiraz said, looking for something to distract his lord.
"The Flesh will recover, or they will wish they burned up with this mine." Archarus grumbled, "now, is there any news you have that is genuinely of interest, or is it only about the trench digging fodder we have?" Archarus was started to test his patience, and wanted to hear something go his way.
"Yes, Warsmith. I was going to wait until we were in orbit once more, but you have insisted. We received a message from the warp, while garbled beyond recognition for almost all of it, the transmission is orky, of that there can be no mistake. We cannot tell exactly what they want, or if it was intended for our ears specifically, but Oracheis believes he can decipher more of it, despite the obvious ignorance the greenskins show when sending a message."
At this Archarus was caught off guard. Were they making idle threats for them to leave, or was this something more? Last he had heard that the greenskins were falling to the hammer of the Imperium, and infighting was taking its own toll. "Good, if Oracheis says he can crack it, I don't think we could stop him, even if the Imperium put all of its manpower against him." Archarus spoke highly of the tech-marine, knowing his capabilities and fascination involving xenos technology, and also knowing of his insatiable lust for more of the xeno tech and the value of it.
Archarus is trying to rally his forces and is trying to counter the onslaught the Wolverines have given them to ward off his raids. (It's a bit back and forth. "No, the Wolverines started it, I swear! No, Archarus started it! ) As such, his next number will be 62.

Lord Karak,
Honor to the Black Templars brothern. You have made Dorn proud in your attempt to save my Wolverines Valiant. While ultimately your sacrifice saved my kin you have suffered greatly and have my apologies for having to use lives on my men. We are in your debt, if you shall ever need something please allow my men to repay the debt.
To high command, we have come across a suprise in our sector. We have found pockets of humans who have been passed over by the Orks and we are currently assessing the situation on if they will be assimilated back into the fold. I do have concerns with rumors of high command "funding" orks to fight our fight. Xenos are never to be trusted and they dishonor this crusade if it is true.
Great Honor,

My Lord, the men of the 20th Kasrkin have been making raids on enemy positions for several weeks now and they report great success in harrying the enemy. In addition, defensible positions have been secured on many of the planets that have already been taken by our glorious forces. Now that this has been done I am despatching the Cadian 9th Armored and the Cadian 17th Regiment to assist the Black Templars in their endeavors while the 20th Kasrkin rotates out to rest and recover with the body of the fleet.
Your Loyal Servant,

My strikeforce is now at full operational potential, minus Sergeant Thracian's squad. Given our recent string of success in mopping up the stragglers of the Orks fleeing from Mogrok, we have made an executive decision to push into the Eastern flank to make up for the lack of Astartes presence. We leave the Cadian 13th on rearguard duty, but take the Krieg 22nd in to support us. Augur reports seem to indicate the location of Warboss Skulkrusha in this region. If we can eliminate this menace, we can break much of the greenskin's hold from this subsector. I will report as soon as possible. I will have his head, or he will have mine.
Acting-Captain Hadris Aurelius, signing off.
Private message, encoded for Lord Marshall Karak, Black Templars Chapter. My lord, the Ultramarines cry in elation for the recovery of this artefact. However, my recent failures in the boarding actions and the loss of my brethren should stand to account in the face of this: I am not worthy of accepting this blade. If I should survive my next deployment, I shall offer a trade of Skulkrusha's head for the sword. If I fail, feel free to keep it as a reminder of the bond the Black Templars and Ultramarines forged in this war, or return it to my chapter. I am sure Lord Calgar would be generous.
Ceased transmission.
