I went with a blue and purple suit, with a warm red on the streamers. She isn't totally finished yet, but she will be once I get home. I was up incredibly late in the night painting her, and I have been feeling the consequences of this decision all throughout today

Also, considering how I play a few games over the weekend, I was wondering if you guys wanted to see some photos from those matchups? Just a thought if anyone was interested

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updates... I've been a bit too excited.

I have half of Death Masque currently built, and I am gonna talk with a guy at my FLGS on Friday about purchasing the half of the set a time or another (its just soooo cheap!!!!)

And, I have some quins' painted too! My discovery of 'The Office' has helped speed up my painting tenfold! And I'm only 3 seasons in!

Those Harlies are looking absolutely stellar dude. Your diamond pattern shows up nicely and the masks look suitably sinister. I daresay that in my opinion this is some of the best brushwork you've done to date, great work, keep it up.

Wow, respect! Thee diamonds are looking really good, especially the highlights bring more depth to it. Should have done this with my harlies too...^^

Wow those Harlies are stunning!

You've managed to make them colourful, but still dark. Not an easy feat! I've seen lots of Harlies that look cartoony, but these are the perfect balance between grimdark and colourful

Oh, and the diamond pattern is fantastic. The highlights isn't something I've seen before, and gives the illusion that they've got depth to them (like ye olde quilted armour).

I’m going to echo everyone else’s “wow”. Very nice work there. The color, tone, and execution are all spot on.

And if you do hit the table, defiantly grab some pics. You don’t need to go full battle report, but a few shots to showcase the army and some highlights of the the game are always fun.

Absolutely and utterly deserved

Today was quite productive..

I finished up the Harlie troupe, finishing the Troupe Master and two other quins.

I am trying to get better at the checker patter, and tried some brighter highlights on the Troupe Master, I think they showed up really nicely, and am quite chuffed with them.

I also started on the Skyweaver bikes, so much checkers to paint!

Oh additionally, I got the 12 harlequins in the mail that I ordered forever ago, this is awesome because more minis is almost always awesome, but sucks because now I have 24, and due to the restrictive nature of the harlies detachments, I'll only be running 3 squads. Maybe larger units on foot? Hey, at least I have quins to experiment with!

More amazing work dude, you're improving at a phenomenal rate with these Harlies. The brighter highlights were a very good call. I'm very excited to see these bikes come together.

These look so cool! Must try that highlighting thing myself really neat little trick.

Oh, and i thought that Harlies were one of the few armies where blobs of CC footsloggers could work. Maximises your benefits from a Shadowseer casting Veil of Tears and you can do cheeky things like park yourself the other side of cover from an enemy unit, and then charge through it the next turn with Move Through Cover

The best part is you don't even have Move Through Cover, you just ignore it completely, probably one of the cheekiest things about the harlies.

And I currently have enough harlies for 3 units of 8, I just need two more shadowseers and another unit of Skyweavers and I'll have enough for a fully fleshed out masque! (sorta)

Oh, and you've managed to paint 6 Harlies, a Shadowseer and make a start on two bikes while I've managed 4...

Haha, I understand! It definitely doesn't work for everybody, but unless I have something good to occupy my brain with painting goes slowly and very poorly TBH.

I got a little bit of progress on the skyweaveavers, the checker pattern is done, its not perfect but I am happy with it nonetheless.

I am very happy about my colour scheme choice for Harlequins, mainly because it happened to coincide with the Fracture of Biel Tan, and specifically the new Ynari formation coming out, which I am so excited to play! Hopefully its like Castellans of the Imperium, so I can easily ally in CE without much work.

That checker pattern looks great dude! These bikes are going to be so badass. I'm also super stoked for the Ynnari, it might be a long time before I can get the triumvirate though since money is still tight. I really want to paint Yvraine so much though! Your Harlies are going to be perfect for the Ynnari faction though man, can't wait to see the lists you produce for it.

All jokes aside I think I'm gonna pre order the triumvirate Friday, and grab it Saturday, that way I'll have it guaranteed.

My list will definitely include the Yncarne, and honestly probably a warlock conclave, and various aspects and the such to fill holes. Once I get the book (already pre-ordered on Itunes ) I'll throw together a list, its a bit overwhelming when you don't own an eldar codex though

Thanks man! I saw an awesome scheme somewhere for the Ycarne (I can't remember for the life of me) of like a greyscale.. it was on some thread about the release of the triumvirate, it was quite striking

Yeah I remember that greyscale with just the purples staying coloured, but more muted than the original. Definitely a cool scheme

So I am gonna stop by the GW tomorrow, the plan is to pre-order the triumvirate and pick up some craftworld stuff, as its so easy to include. I am not 100% sure yet, but it'll be awesome.. maybe some bikes? Or an aspect... so many choices...

I got the Triumvirate today! and the store owner was kind enough to give it to me today! So I got everything built.

I also got 3 bikes and went ahead and built them with scatter lasers... I know its cheesy but hey, you can't blame me when I only have one unit

I also wrote up a list, It's probably not very competitive but hey, I was just trying to use units that I want to or have worked well for me so far.

Neat! They look really cool can't wait to see what you do with them.

Also, that list looks pretty decent to me actually. Good amount of MSU, and some strong picks with Scatterbikes, Caltrop Reavers (supported by Skyweavers) and a boat full of clowns

One problem with all these cross-codex formations is it makes them hard to judge.

You going to paint the scatbikes to match your DE, or pick a craftworld?

Looking forward to seeing the new guys get paint, they are a cool looking trio of models.

That list looks good, it's a scalpel for the more part for sure but hey, that's what Eldar mostly are aren't they? It's definitely worth a few trial runs at least.

Yeah definitely, I can see myself dropping 2 of the triumvirate (whomever preforms the worst) to free up points, probably to replace the lhamian with a farseer on a bike.

The bikes are gonna be in the scheme of the harlequin faces, so purple/white.
