Order placed Jan 17th. According to UPS it has cleared customs this morning. In Langenhagen, Germany. Maybe I´ll see the package someday in June.

Not GW but I did order some bits from the Ukraine, alternative heads for my CSM.
They shipped Ukraine on Feb 15th, arrived to the UK the next day and have sat there since, unmoving.
Bit of pain in the hole and after it taking 3 weeks for my last shipment from Wayland I'm hesitant at ordering at all for the moment unless it's already in Ireland.

Thankfully I've been well sorted with paint and accessories by HobbyMad, HappyGoLucky and AirSoftEire

Yeah, I'm coming to the same conclusion. Too much of a hassle to deal with, from now on if it's not in stock somewhere in the EU I'm not ordering it.

Dito.
Good policy. If it's not available, then it's better to work around.
Nevertheless, I hope that my 60 Warriors led by a Silent King will become reality soon.

Last friday I ordered some stuff from GWS directly (a Corpse Cart and some VC Dire Wolves), and much to my surprise the order arrived today! There were no additional fees, no additional taxes, nothing.

Well now I'm just getting royally annoyed. I preordered KT Pariah Nexus from GW and just received a shipping notification this morning.. While my Non-GW owned FLGS about 1km from my house shows "In Stock". So I cant cancel my GW order anymore and pick up an alternate copy from my FLGS without a tiresome return roulette and months of hee-haw...

What in the actual F GW!

I'm not ordering anything from GW.com or ForgeWorld.com for a while. This ish is bumming me out. Sort yourself "Nothingham"

That's no surprise. Your store's stock was likely shipped before your orders were in the GW system. Furthermore your store's stock might have come through in a bulk consignment whilst your stuff went through individually. The issue might also not be GW it could be the simple mechanics of customs at the UK end or even your local end.

Well this isn't brexit related. Gw ships preorders on release date. You never get new releases faster from gw than flgs.

I have been ordering from Dark Sphere for years but post Brexit they no longer ship to EU countries. Are there really no stores in the EU that can match their discount? The UK is full of stores that offer 25%-20% off GW-retail so I figured it would be easy to find a store within the EU that did the same but no.

Feels like I've looked everywhere, from Poland to Portugal.

I haven't seen any 20% to 25% discounts in the EU, no. I wonder if Dark Sphere will be able to keep that up with the smaller market available to it now? But perhaps the margins on EU sales were already low due to shipping?

Stock levels seem to be a bit of a problem for EU online shops too. Fantasy Welt is still out of stock on loads of items.

No sign of my order from the first of February either. Really hope it actually does arrive, I might shoot them another email to check the status, but I assume their shipment is still stuck in customs on the German side. Seems like a crazy long delay.

20% off GW except for MailOrder is standard here (don't know any FLGS without)

but no one will match 20% off + conversion rate

Most of the mainland EU online retailer market collapsed overnight after GW implemented the rule that they would only deliver to retailers who also had a brick and mortar store.

I've sent GW a polite email asking them if they know anything about what the feth is going on in Herne-Boernig at this point. I doubt I'll get an answer, but it beats trying to ask UPS, who simply tells me to have another look at the shipping info tomorrow. :|

I was expecting Dark Sphere to be among the first to resume EU-shipping but most of the others have and Dark Sphere still haven't. Like you I asumed they got a lot of international orders that made up for the low margin but perhaps that wasn't the case.

The stores here in Sweden are out of stock of a lot essentials too so my shopping list have been growing for months now.

Austria, huh? The Euro does add about 10% but still, worth checking out.

Didn't realize that was still in effect but that would explain it. Though the UK stores still manage to offer great discounts.

Is Herne-Boernig where the big hold up is? I know of stores that have orders made in January still held up in Germany but newer orders have been coming through much faster.

https://games-island.eu/ has 20ish % off most GW and is trustworthy, been buying Magic there for years. But there's no such thing as free shipping on the continent.

I can't say I blame anyone for not exporting since Brexit. I just tried to work out how to ship a laptop charger to someone in Ireland for work, and now have a massive headache from trawling through gak like this:

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/classifying-computers-and-software#accessories-of-a-computer

https://www.trade-tariff.service.gov.uk/headings/8471

Just... No. Buy one from the Irish Dell website. Leave me alone.

Warlord just changed their EU shipping cost.

Let's hope they get an EU distribution centre soon as the new charges can't but hurt their business.

Just got a GW order with no issues or extra postage costs. Are GW losing money on these transactions now like Warlord claim they are I wonder?

yeah, problem is just that a lot of things go Mail Order only very fast these days but if you plan to buy the big boxes on release might be worth checking

Contacted Fantasywelt to check again, apparently their stuff is still stuck and no idea when it will get to them. 6 weeks so far, which is a long time for Fantasywelt to be without stock. I feel bad for them!

Kutami also posted a quite pessimistic update today. All their stuff vanished through the Herne-Boernig warp rift. I found what I wanted (Titanicus starters) in stock at an Italian store and will cancel my Kutami order.

GW got back to me and could do nothing but apologize and ask me to be patient, so I'll give it two weeks or so until I hit the three month marker, at which point I'll either cancel all outstanding orders or ask them to resend.

As of right now at least one of my orders has entered the clearance process for the seventh time..! Bunch of inept fethwads.

Still isn't working well.
I got The Silent King, but 3 boxes are still in the pipeline since January.
Ordered the new Drukhari codex plus cards. Retailer says order will be delayed.

My latest GW order seems to be stuck in France of all places now. Again due to a B-word related issue.

Pretty much two months since I ordered my stuf now. No sign. I can see that FantasyWelt are getting restocks on stuff now, but that must be from stuff where either they or GW actually sorted out the paperwork.

A bit disappointed that it wasn't sorted out before January to be honest, given we knew the shape of Brexit for ages. It hasn't been on the cards that the UK would remain in the Customs Union for years, since Theresa May originally ruled it out.

I'm not sure what to do. One of the things I ordered was one of the Broken Realms sets that is now out of stock everywhere it seems. Without that box, I'm a bit less interested in the start collecting box I ordered to go with it. So I'm not sure if I should cancel my order or ask them to make it up from the kits that were in the Broken Realm kit individually, or just keep waiting. At the moment settling on continuing the wait, but I do wonder what could be going on up in Hamburg that the stuff is stuck for two months.

At least I got the SK from FantasyWelt after almost two months.
Another parcel with Necron Warriors is still underway and new Druhkari codex and datacards are delayed too.

Two of my orders finally came in today, they were supposed to be delivered yesterday, but if UPS doesn't notify us of when they're delivering, yeah no gak nobody will be around to answer the door.

Leaves me with two parcels from way back in January still in limbo and my preorder that's stuck in France.

After a couple of weeks where things were much better and faster (including some deliveries just days after the weekend release date), we are now back to our regular circus with UPS and customs...
My order with the Lumineth rules is now stuck with a "Late because of UPS error" message which doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, plus a tracking history that mentions it apparently went through customs 3 times or more... And my Cursed City tracking is in a quantum state between "Delivery today" and "Still held by customs".

More than the delivery delays which I don't mind too much, it's the vagueness of the labels and the illogical tracking history that make me wary.

Visited the GW store last week and the poor devil is still waiting on a lot of his own stuff and mail orders, with stuff coming in at random with no rhyme or reason involved.

He also pretty much confirmed that my orders from January are at the bottom of a massive pile in the German "sorting" centre and that they just keep throwing gak on top of it, instead of doing the decent thing and sending out the backlog first. donkey-caves.

Tomorrow it'll officially hit the three month mark.

I made an order through an italian local store and the two GW kits that needed to be imported from UK arrived after 3 weeks, as expected. The shop's owner told me that several orders placed in january-february are still on hold though with stuff blocked in a german warehouse.
