I think GW has been sending out some parts of orders early to stores due to the slowdown of shipping. IT might be part of why the shifted to a 2 week system

yeah, local store received his (limited) contingent of Slaanesh stuff, while the DeathGuard has still not arrived

GW might now have figured out how to handle the situation but it will only affect future orders

I am waiting on Kraeth's Shadowpact that I ordered while it was still in stock for GW, it is delayed somehow but I hope the box is actually en route and I actually get it, since it is out of stock online now and probably won't be restocked.

Wayland Games shipped my Hedonites order this morning. It’s the first post brexit order I’ve made from them so it will be interesting to see how long delivery takes. Opted for Wayland as they are doing DDP whereas Element and Firestorm don’t seem to be? It’s a pity free shipping is gone but £4.92 flat rate is still pretty good and the double loyalty points for Valentines weekend will cover my next shipping charge.

I ordered Khagra’s Ravagers from GW direct it shipped on the 5th of February and reached Germany on the 10th it has just sat there since. It’s scheduled for delivery on the 23rd but I’ll believe it when I see it. If I’d known they’d use UPS for such a small order I would have waited and tacked it on to my Wayland order instead. You live and learn and it’s all very much trial and error at the moment.

Not only wayland is doing ddp thev remove british tax from price. Element you would get double taxed...

To here it's almost 10 pound shipping though so for about 80-90 pound order local flgs with 10% discount eeks out despite wayland 20% and pound conversion rate. Mujti hundred order would be different.

My GW store has received the new Hedonite releases for tomorrow, not a lot, but he got them in time.

Hopefully the preorder put in tomorrow will be handled as swiftly as they supply their stores now, would be nice not having to funting wait ages for those books.

Quite unexpectedly an order showed up just now. Placed on the 27th of January, as point of reference. The orders placed before this one are still stuck in limbo however. :|

Kutami.de reports that they have started to receive their backlog from UPS but it's been well randomized by the customs process and needs sorting. Judging by their stock level indicators they've also started an aggressive restock campaign with almost every GW item now listed as about "20 copies on the way from the supplier"

It seems to me that UPS finally figured out how to classify GW items and should now breeze through any new orders, but there's still warehouses full of backlog.

Got my order from Wayland I ordered a week ago to Belgium. I used the DPD premium shipping EEA - certainly more expensive, but I didn't pay any extra on delivery and it was still kinda fast in comparison to others, I guess. It was more than 250 £. Still worth it with the change and the -20% price tag on Wayland.

GW seems to be figuring out how to do this. DG finally came, slaanesh came on time and one player here ordered stuff from forge on monday and it arrived today(which would have been pretty impressive even pre-brexit)...

Maybe worst is over at least straight from GW.

I have high hopes that my book preorder, which should be shipping out in a few days, will reach me before the rest of my still in limbo orders at this point.

According to UPS I should be getting six orders delivered to me tomorrow, it's probably going to be another false alarm.

Also, GW appears to be removing or hiding comments of people asking about their stuff from FB posts now.

I hope you actually get them! I'll not be ordering from the UK like this again, at least for the next while. If it's not in stock, I'll just not order. The stuff I ordered a month ago is still not here.

Oh well. I am willing to wait another little while. I am disappointed though, because one of the things I ordered is now not available any more. I suspect it may never arrive.

UPS delivered my GW order that shipped on the 5th yesterday so 22 days. It had an expected delivery date of the 4th of March on the app and it wasn't even listed as out for delivery it just turned up at 8AM. The delivery date was rescheduled twice each time pushing it out a week, without notice and it updated the day after it was listed for (and missed) delivery.

Germany seems to be the bottle neck as it went from Germany to France to Ireland in 2 days but it spent 15 days in Germany. I was half expecting it to show up as retransiting the UK at some point but it looks like UPS shipped direct from France.

A friend ordered GW direct and got it delivered, here's what he found

1) GW charged him British VAT
2) he was charged Slovenian VAT (and handling of course) by customs
3) the included invoice was doctored as if he had not paid UK VAT

So the complete list of VAT-registered UK hobby companies that are not commiting tax fraud when selling to the EU is to my knowledge (and I've been very nosy about it):

Wayland, Warlord Games (full DDT)
North Star (removing UK VAT from price)

My friend will of course demand reimbursement for the roughly 30€he paid on his 80€ order considering GW's "guarantee" that they will cover all import costs.

I just checked the box mine was delivered in there's no invoice and no customs paperwork or details whatsoever no wonder it took so long to clear customs I'm actually surprised it did at all it probably only cleared as it's a small item. So it does look like GW aren't operating customs and VAT correctly despite what they said.

No special tape on the box either to denote that it has been opened and handled by customs?

And GW has removed tracked shipping from their store for all EU customers as well now it seems.

Nothing to indicate it was opened no it was sealed with brown tape and the address label is over that which has only 1 cut which I made. UPS removed their part of the delivery label so there may have been something on there but there's noting on the address label and no invoice in the box.

I have an order with Wayland Games that I placed at the start of Jan. It took them until the start of Feb to actually send it.
I was tracking the parcel and got a bit worried as the status hadn't changed for a while. I found a site that showed me more info and it said that delivery had been attempted twice (dear reader, it had not).
I sent WG an email asking them to check up, especially as I was worried that they had put the address in wrongly. I got a reply saying... yeah, we will check.
Today, the tracking site tells me the parcel is being returned to sender.... 2 damn months and it got within a 30 min drive of me... Hopefully the 2 emails I have sent this afternoon might get a reply soon enough to sort it out. I'll be super upset if they offer a refund as I got this order in before they changed the shipping t&c, so I won't be able to get the same models with the same price again.... grrrrrr...

Unexpectedly received 2 orders shipped very recently (Uriel Ventris & the Ork duo) so it looks like the situation may be improving for recent orders, but I still have 3 packages lost in custom limbo...

And another box delivered this morning from Forgeworld (alternative weapons for Adeptus Titanicus Warlord), this one was sent early January, was lost in transit, resent in February and finally showed up on my door. Good thing my backlog is mountain-sized already.

I'm down to 2 orders not yet delivered.

I'm still waiting for a package that was posted on the 22/01/2021. It even disappeared off my UPS tracking app until I manually re-entered the UPS tracking number.

Two more days and two of my orders will officially be two months stuck somewhere in the system.

Got two GW-packages on their way.

The first one was sent on the 28th of january, and has been stuck in Herne-Boernig, Germany since the 31st of january.

The second one was sent on the 6th of february, and has been stuck in Herne-Boernig, Germany since the 11th of february.

Have gotten several "false alarms" about pickup dates on both, which of course amount to nothing in the end.

Wonder if it's possible to cancel GW-orders post-despatch in the current chaos.

My local retailer has gotten most of the stuff I ordered in stock now, so if I could cancel my GW-order and order from them instead, I'd have the items by tomorrow...

For reference, this one did not go to the hellhole that is Herne-Boernig, but instead straight to Cologne for some bloody great reason. Hopefully this will be the new way of things going forward with GW orders.

So, should be coming home to Pariah, Penitent and other books today.

My Wayland order just arrived shipped on the 19th of February so 12 days to deliver which isn’t much longer than before. No issue with customs so their DDP seems to be working. There’s no invoice in the box but the shipping label lists it as a DDP delivery.
