Had some great games today DEE, basically a blow out in both directions with 2 different armies, makes it pretty easy to decide which list to bring to the tournie on sunday . Either way had a great time today, plus I got to see 2 tau armies today which really blows my mind since i haven't seen tau in years lol and i even saw a chaos demons army so you know it was a good day. Can't wait for sunday and all the craziness that goes on with a tournie, see everyone bright and early 9:30/10am .

To anyone who is going to GW Yonge and Lawrence tomorrow for Fantasy night: sadly, I won`t be able to make it tomorrow. I will probably be good for next week, however.

Yes, Rythem and I had some good games. I just cannot beat those darn Nids... but I did have some fun with the Blood Angels. Wych squads in combat for 3 full turns and still slugging it out!! I finally got my Talos Pain Engines into a fight as well, which was a nice change of events for me.

Spender played Fantasy by himself.

Kungfu and Shiboo were there.

Also met a few new guys who were playing Tau versus Chaos Demons... cool models!!! I might start an army of Demons... I like.

What Heavy units should I field in the tourney??? Anyone?? Razorwing Jet Fighters, Ravagers, Talos Pain Engines??

Anyone up for a game tomorrow? Wife is out and kid it at his grandparents so I got some free time. I can do Legends, Mepplemart (think they might do other games on Sat) anywhere, just let me know.

Sorry, no can do tomorrow. Saturdays are taken up by a Rifts campaign I'm participating in. :(

Pretty sure I'll be at Legends tomorrow, I need to fill 65 points in the list I want to use Sunday.... the most logical choice is a landspeeder (vanilla marines) which I don't own, so I'm hoping Legends has one I can pick up, if not, GW is just around the corner.

That is what I need, But I think it will be useful to have in the long run as something to fill points when I have under 80 to spare. If I get down that way, I'll pick one up at GW. If not, I'll let you know I need one.

Ugh Cancel that, gf just got stung by probably the only bee alive right now, so i'm driving her to the hospital. Sorry optimusprime14 but it's looking like i'm not going to be able to meet today. Hopefully legacy40k can still get some games in with ya.


Ok false alarm, turns out not a bee sting but just a really big bug that she instantly freaked out about. Never a dull moment, i can still meet ya for 1 game around 2 if your still interested optimus. If not than all good, i know i have some chores i need to do around the house still.

Just a reminder about the Tournament at Legends Warehouse this Sunday April 22.
All spots have been booked.
Doors will open at 9:00am and try to start as close to 10:00 as possible.

Looks like I won't make it down today, so if I can borrow that landspeeder, it would be great.

I'll bring the landspeeder with me tomorrow, treat it well it has never strayed for me when I deepstrike it .

Yes this is confirmed, 10-6 is the time set aside for the tournie, and don't forget a printed out list, makes things easier for everyone involved.

So a great tournie today! Lots of ups and downs, met some new players and had a great time. Everything was run very smoothly and would like to say thanks to Legends for running and hosting today, very much appreciated .

I hope they start running this tournament regularly.

The only change I would suggest is preassigning the deployment types along with the mission types, that way we all play 1 of each deployment as well.

I agree. For the atmosphere and tables and peope, it was the best yet. Yup. I also like the bonus paint prizes. Now I have to do more painting.

If anyone has any Tau, let me know. I need a new army to go with the paints.

Also, a wee bit more terrain is always good. Without the 25 percent coverage it's rough on non-mechanized armies.

Legends would like to thank all the player.
It was easy to have a great day because of the great people who played.
Congrats to Rythem for his first place win by a slim 1 point margin.
There will more tournament in the near future.
We had a cut off of twelve for this one but we could have had atleast 18 -24 that wanted to be add in the last few day.
If you have any ideas to improve the tournament we're open to suggestions,

@Kungfu, All the tables had a min. of 25% terrain but more terrain and more tables are on the way.

And just to be clear, you definately have the nicest tables/best variety out of anyone I've played at, especially GW. You really get into it when the tables/terrain have that kind of effort at a store instead of just using the out of box GW stuff they have.

I also, like the ratings for the victory. It really adds a lot more to the game to keep playing hard. You're aiming for a major victory instead of just camping out, or you're playing right to the end to not have a major loss. If we end up with a league set-up, that's something to copy and build on.

Did someone mention a league???? I know Legends would host and offer prize support. If they don't want the work of managing the logistics and stats, etc, I would be more than happy to do that part. I think a league would be awesome. If people are interested in a league, let's start the dialogue now so we can get it going.
